Those other maps, please be BTB style maps!

So we get 7 maps. Nice
-1 for firefight
=6

6 maps and we have
Hang Em high=Small-Mid Size
Damnation=Small(er)-Mid Size
Timberland=Big
Beaver Creek=Small

Ok so that leaves us with 2 maps. Now Reach has nearly no big maps and DLC is nice but those playlists are always below 1000 [if not just 500]. The game has two Invasion maps and one DLC one but still boring, and 90% of the BTB maps you see in BTB are forge stuff [not a problem some of them are awesome],

However case in point is Reach has enough small-mid size maps. Forge World is limited to one section at a time and gets boring after awhile. Spire is cool but for some reason only 40% of the map is even used, Boneyard has the same problem…and on and on. Tempest, Breakpoint and Highlands are great but as I said limited people.

And just to let you know, not counting DLC there are 9 small-mid size maps. And only about 4 big team maps, 2 in which are forge. And even with DLC/Forge World stuff it’s just crazy.

So please, 343!!! Please give us two bigger maps. Waterworks, Sidewinder, Headlong, One of the many grand PC maps, anything. But please dont give us some map that’s been remade 1000 times on Forge. We need some action. In fact Side Winder is a MUST because in Halo:CE that and Blood Gulch were the only big maps it had. SO please, Sidewinder!

Why can’t they use some of the firefight maps in regular multiplayer and vice versa?

I don’t understand why they’re separated…

But yes, BTB and INVASION friendly maps would be great.

I could totally see Terminal being an Invasian map, or Zanzibar, I mean they fit perfectly

Terminal=Offense first has to take points. One in the garage [top floor] and one on the street right near the train tracks. Second tier is capturing two near the back and front entrance of the base. ANd last is planting a bomb.

Zanzibar=Offense and defense fight at the beach [d-day style, yup] second tier is taking the wheel or Camp Froman [spelling?] and last is planting a bomb.

Hell most of the Halo2 maps could be used for this. Waterworks would even work with some changes. Head Long. Etc.

Plus not only do you have a cool invasion map you have a good map as well.

Anybody else want Sandtrap?

Also, I hope that all the DLC is properly integrated with the release of Anniversary. Preferably by the 6 DLC maps already out being on the disc, but if not, then at least halve their Marketplace prices. Then there can be a few playlists for those who haven’t bought the DLC, and those who have paid the extra price can enjoy their extra maps in general matchmaking instead of being restricted to a few playlists. Big Team especially. So many great BTB maps - Highlands, Tempest, Breakpoint - are never in BTB, which is plain dumb. I’d also love to see Heavies variants of these.

Sandtrap, meh, I’d rather have something else thats more classic. Halo 3 isn’t classic enough plus Sandtrap was never my cup of tea, I’d prefer Containment for a HUGE MAP over it anyday.

Plus we need a big snow map. We have a beach, canyon and rockyish area. Why not have a big snow map next to breakpoint to add some chillness to Reach.

I still say Sidewinder, but the original, Halo:CE style [not halo3’s one]. And either Zanzibar, Terminal, Waterworks, Head Long or Containment.

I don’t get it either. You have 8 maps that would definitely be great for FFA, and I’m sure some would make good maps for other gametypes too. Imagine Team Heavies on Overlook, or Snipers on Waterfront.

You wouldn’t even have to design any maps, just put multiplayer variants of them up for download… imagine how popular this would make whatever company did it among the Seven7th Column…
