I was playing yesterday and encountered an enemy in the process of assassinating one of my teammates. Fortunately, I managed to prevent the assassination and save my teammates life, but after the near death experience, we both just stood there for a moment, staring at each other like “WTF just happened?”.
After a brief pause, the dude crouched down and back up really quick as if to say “Thanks, bro.”
It was just one of those cool moments that make me love this game.
Anyone else have stories like this?
Getting a side by side Assassination on team variants with my mate the other day was pretty badass xD
Well I got a Showstopper. 
Man so far no moment beats the Reach: Beta I assassinated a guy behind my friend and when I turned around my friend assassinated the guy behind me.
Here’s something cool that happened about a week ago or so. I was playing BTB on Ragnarok and I was at one of the bases near where the flag is located in CTF matches. All of a sudden a Ghost came up the ramp and tried to splatter me but I I backed up a bit and avoided that but I went into a man cannon by accident and went flying. The guy with the Ghost had tried to splatter me again and the man cannon sent him flying in the Ghost just after me. He got close enough to me before we hit the ground that I was able to hijack the Ghost in mid-air and then I proceeded to kill the driver after we landed. It was pretty cool.
For me things like these are out running a tank while on a mongoose holding the flag, or tend to be lots of flag based stuff.
But CTF is buggered up by lack of Big Team and getting rapped by the DMR.
