Those in EU will most likely not get to play PvP

Thinking about the timings that have happened with this flight it is most likely that those of us in EU timezone will not be able to play the PvP slayer mode if it is released as “late sunday” probably means early morning Monday when most of us are working or asleep.

This was one of issues I had with the launch of the flight where it stated the release was the 29th but actually it came out at 2am on the 30th.

Best choice is to get into bed early and get in some pvp before work when US is running on the last fumes of their energy drink ;-). I feel you though as a fellow EU but heck, 343 is an US company so I can’t blame them for facilitating this mainly on hours which are also healthy for their own staff.

Yes it released 29th in the time zone of the people working on it. Keep in mind that this was a technical test which required staff to be there so it was clear this was going to be the case. As far as us European players are concerned it’s just unfortunate but can’t be changed.

Hopefully the next flight will last a week. Everybody should find some time to play during that period.

I understand that they are an American company and therefore work according to their schedule. But it would have been a good option to have done the test in a localized way according to the region to avoid precisely these time lags.

True but I think that the actually tried their hardest to make the flight happening this weekend and not the next. In all other flights/beta’s the builds were available before hand and there was a lot less trouble with server management. So I’m mostly thankful that they pulled it off in such short time and we got to play instead of postponing it further and making it a smoother flight.

Yeah I am super keen to try out PVP but most likely it will only have a couple of hours after work Monday. That’s fine, hopefully I can try it.

I’ve barely been able to play today as the second COVID jab has knocked me on my -Yoink-.
