So we all know the grunts are some of the funniest little aliens ever put into a video game. The classic “you killed yapflip!” Dialogue is still quoted on a regular basis around the forums.(we even have a regular poster that changed their gamertag to this line.) So what great lines have you heard from halo5? I’ll lead off with a simple one, but it makes me crack up everytime. Playing WZFF I sticky grenaded a grunt, and he says very dejectedly “oh dear.”
I just like it when you walk torward them and they scream “RUN!” while they waddle away
I like the grunt from the campaign that yells " Help! Help! I regret everything!"

I forgot about that one! That’s a good one! Just now finished a match of FF and while I was waiting to respawn heard a grunt yell, “I live for the thrill of battle!” Then he died from a headshot…
yesterday I listened a grunt saying “Lets kill many humans in his name” after I killed another one

Has anyone taken the time to listen to that grunt talking to the elite in one of the guns down missions on Sanghelios? The whole thing about the brute home world is f’n hilarious! “Doisac, Doooisac. They coulda named it anything, but no. They named it Doisac.”

The Grunt Goblin is hilarious.
“You break my arm, I break your everything.”
“If I am going down I am taking you all with me.” Right after he said that he exploded.

The Grunt dialogue from Halo 3 was the funniest lines I have ever heard. “You killed Flipyap! Or Yapflip was he, he was Yapflip no Flipyap was his brother. Don’t tell me I don’t know Flipyap! Flipyap and I went to Nipple academy together, and he’s dead”.
My favourite is when you’re in enemy lines and the kraken stands up and says “RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!” In his hilarious little grunty voice
A couple more I’ve heard, “right in the face!” After shooting an ungoy in the face, " an elite yelling “nooo, I loved him!” After shooting an ungoy, and the warden saying, " I just made that!" After killing a knight.
Some of my favorites are the grunts that are hidden in the different Halo campaigns that have little speeches. But most of the random stuff regular grunts say are frickin hilarious.
The Grunt Goblin the first time I played Fire Fight…I just stopped playing and listened to what he said, not caring if I died XD
When he launches those homing needler missles, that line is like something out of an anime. Almost reminds of the english dub of Yu Yu Hakusho: “SPIRIT GUN!!!”
A grunt started running away from me and yelled “evasive maneuvers!” in the open. The poor grunt died shortly after.
“My guns are on hot and spicy!”
Anybody else think the Grunt Goblin needs to explode in confetti when it blows up?
That being said, Grunts are the best thing to kill. Always a hoot!
