So maybe Halo5 will be Thorns adventure it is just something i have been thinking about now when they got half of the keyes. Chief might be back on earth but that dosen’t mean he will continue Infinity’s journey to get Halsey and Jul so maybe Thorn will be the main character in Halo5 unless it will take place somewere else or what do you think ?

The Chief is better, and I’m already emotionally invested. Bringing in some random new guy in an important game in the Halo series to replace the chief is all kinds of wrong.
343 has already said they’re planning things out as trilogy. Here’s 3 things you don’t do at the start of a new triology:
Kill off the new threat (didact)
kill off the new enemy (prometheans)
remove the main character
If they wanted to replace chief, it would have been easy to do so for halo 4, he was kind of stranded in the middle of nowhere after all.
Thorne is just the new recruit. He shows potential to become a great Spartan but he needs more experience under his belt first. I would say he’s going to be treated, sort of, like Lasky in Forward Unto Dawn. He will meet the Chief and become inspired by him, (even more than he already is), and then work hard to be the best that he can be.
Perhaps Thorne is being set up to be the protagonist of Halo 7-9? We’re being given his back story with 4-6 while simultaneously completing the Chief’s storyline. That’s just a theory but personally I don’t think they should do that. I think if there is to be a 7-9 they’re going to need to jump into the future. Do what Star Trek did and jump 100 years to show how things have changed for “the next generation.” Of course Thorne could be an old Spartan General in that time period or something and then instructs the player who is someone else. I don’t know, just thinking out loud.
Thorne is more of a deuterprotagonist, he provides a central voice and perspective for the events in Spartan Ops.
If he survives all three planned seasons, then I have no doubt that he will appear in Halo 5, but as a supporting character.

No, just no. With all due respect, that’s just an awful idea. It’s the chief’s story; he’s the guy we’ve been watching save the galaxy and to switch to a still underdeveloped character is just outrageous to even consider.
Keep Thorne in Spartan Ops, sure (I do like him), but there’s absolutely no way that Thorne should ever replace him.
