I finished the book and sort of confused about the connection between Tom and Margret, was he only picked to sort of undermine Del Rio and by ONI? That’s what I got from that whole thing. Maybe I read it wrong or something.

Or maybe it will be clarified in the show/Halo 4.

But could someone try and explain this one to me?

But I’d say he was picked to inspire troops and be a leader. Also ONI’s agent on board kind of. That’s what I’d say.
