Life has been pretty hectic lately, but I finally got my Xbox replaced, and I’ve been eager to jump back into some Halo Reach! At the same time, though, my rank is so low, I’m probably a solid year, likely more, from achieving the legendary “Haunted” helmet.
So I thought, hey, maybe for Halo Reach’s Anniversary this year, we could see a massive xP bump? Not so much that it becomes “instant Inheritor status” or anything, but just to get a nice push of motivation

It only takes 100 days of hitting the 200k daily credit limit to reach Inheritor, so it will take you just over 3 moths to get to Inheritor, just make good use of custom challenges.
Ehh, I’m not sure I’m good enough to hit that cap! Lol, even in my “Halo prime”, I was probably average, and not having been able to play since I was deployed, I’m probably outright terrible now. Still, I absolutely adore Reach, so fingers-crossed I actually make it there, hopefully at least this year

I did it twice for my 2nd and 3rd Inheritor accounts (but my first was done befor ethe custom challenges). Doesn’t take that long to get around 150k credits then just play as normal.
Well, any tips on getting xP, then? Particular game-modes that are better than others, perhaps? I’ve not played in like a year, so I’m still trying to get the hang of things again

Play firefight, and complete challenges. Or you could always credit farm, but that can get old, and it is pretty much cheating.

Holy crap that still is a long time.
I just did the math and it would 17,000,000 cR’s/85 days to reach Inheritor.

Griffball, dont go for bomb scores, just kills. Gruntpocalypse in the Score Attack playlist is decent for getting a fair ammount of credits also.
