Do us all a favour and don’t buy the game. Play COD or something, Jesus Christ this complaining is annoying as hell. If you don’t like it don’t play it. Simple. No one is forcing you!
The CSR is affected by the outcome of the game, and will go up or down depending on win/loss.
I have been adamant on these forums about a visible rank system, and now we are going to have one. I am sated. And am really looking forward to H4 now.

Or not at all I’m a 46 in H3 so what? What I’m sayin is that getting the whole team together and playing matches will be nothing like in halo 3 nobody will care about this rank mark my words.
you cant be pleased then. The halo 3 days are over, is time to move forward. Keep those glory days in your memory, but dont try to replicate them daily.
You will be matched up based upon skill. Skill WILL play an important role in Halo 4’s Multiplayer. Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it won’t work.
If you want to see a number next to your name in Halo go and play Halo 3. Because Halo 4 won’t have it.
You have a way to see your e-peen, and people won’t have to see yours.
This is true it won’t solve anything. I shouldn’t have to go on waypoint just to see my rank it should be in game. I never go on waypoint in-game is more streamlined. This is just a half–Yoinked!- workaround that will not work.
Yes, i agree is not what we wanted. But, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, see this as a step towards improvement. See this for what it is, 343 listening to the community and giving us something and not ignoring us. Take the positive out of it, and we can work on the faults later.
I am for one very happy with this. Even though i don’t know how well it will work, ( because obviously i have not experienced the system) it is something to aim for.

343 is soo disconnected with its competitive base it just amazes me. This changes absolutely nothing, and in 2 months of halo reach vs 2 most will have left this game just like halo reach. 343 get your damn head out of your -Yoink-!

Exactly. If they want to put in something like this, it’s not going to have much use if you have to get off the game and go to Halo Waypoint just to look at it.
There’s got to be more to this we don’t know yet, I really don’t think they would make looking at other people’s and your own CSR so inconvenient.
Yeah this is a great compromise. I think this is a brilliant move by 343i.

I see it as a good compromise. Sure you have to go to waypoint to see it but atleast it’s there.
If you wanna brag about your rank you just tell people to go to your waypoint. Huh, that actually sounds cool.
I like having fun. I believe that is the most important thing. Then again, fun is subjective. For competitive players, a skill-based ranking system is fun. For others, this is fun. So fun is based on one’s personal taste.
In other news, I like bacon. Are there going to be bacon emblems in Halo 4?
you’re so ignorant you have been complaining that you want some sort of a visble skill system you’re lucky you’re even getting one. they try and do something right for you competitive player and then a thread like this is made.
