This weelky ultimate challenge is BS

I will try that. I sometimes get lucky in tactical slayer, but recently I have been lucky to get 4 kills then I get killed. But i don’t have a lot of time to play these days.

Yes I do but 99% comes from botbootcamp. Which by the way that mode does count toward any challenge that states you need to complete challenge in PvP, since bot Bootcamp is PvE.

Ya bin got, punk.
20 characters.

This is the issue. You play against bots that let you kill them instead of players that put up a fight. Play more PvP and less PvB. I go negative nearly every game and was still able to get a few sprees in a night that i played. If i can get these medals then ANYONE can this challenge done.

I am not a PvP player. In fact I hate PvP the only reason why I play PvP is because of the challenges or in the once in a blue moon that me and my friends are on at the same time. I play Halo for the campaign and PvE.

i wish the weapon spree medals counted for you guys :<

btb will always be my go to for easy challenge knockouts

OK. Then i really don’t get why you even bother to get the challenges done since they only unlock things in PvP modes. At least for now until the foreseeable future. In campaign you play as a Chief and there is no word on Infinite getting a PvE mode.

So i can customize my Spartan. There have been several weelky challenges I haven’t go for because I don’t feel like the reward isn’t worth it.

I still don’t get why you care to customize a spartan that is solely for PvP when you hate that mode but you do you. I aint trying to figure this out no more.

i dont think its that hard, its especially easy if you grab a tank or get a sword and snipe the camo. i got a kilimanjaro and killing frenzy just by sneaking around the back and slaughtering them wholesale

The costomization is also for Bot Bootcamp ofcourse. Maybe he just wants to look fancy in there

I thought this thread was satire but all the replies make me think otherwise.

I mean, a challenge should be a… challenge, no?

My 2 cents, as a suggestion:

BTB w/Scorpion: Pick an area near your base, have the tank body facing backwards with the barrel toward the enemy - so you can’t be headshot as easily. Stay put, wait for them. Prioritize vehicles.

Active Camo w/Sword: Stay patient, don’t blow your cover.

Fiesta: Pray to the RNG gods that you get snipes and/or rockets. Go to work, just don’t be wreckless.

Tactical Slayer(SWAT): Stay back, observe your team. Try to help EVERYONE 2v1. Always. Don’t feel bad about “kill stealing”. Team mindset!

Good luck!

This really isnt that hard of a challenge.

and they shouldnt dumb down the challenges so everyone can easily complete them. theyre called challenges for a reason!

also what do u want them to do have no diversity in the challenges? have the same ones over and over? “get 20 kills in this game mode”, “earn x amount of score in this one”

this is why game devs have to be careful about listening to fans. u sound way too outraged over what is really an easy challenge, i mean its not like theyre asking you to get a kilimanjaro.

couldnt agree with you more.

theyre making challenges easy enough that anyone can complete all of them and get a sense of accomplishment and reward, but just tedious enough to keep a player base who have to play game after game just to get a hydra kill or 20,000 cumulative points in a specific game mode.

I think the big reason why Challenges have been “dumbed” down so much since launch is because Infinite relies on Challenges far more than it should. In previous Halo titles before Infinite, Challenges were done almost the exact opposite. Players naturally progressed through their Spartan Careers gaining XP from simply playing the matchmaking anyway they saw fit and completing the daily/weekly/monthly Challenges simply gave a player extra bonuses to help speed up their Career progression. With Infinite, a player MUST complete Challenges to progress in anything even Events or the Battle Pass and because of this artificial need to complete challenges, now we have 21 weekly noob challenges that any random player can complete in ONE DAY. I also think a big reason why the Weekly Rewards are so lackluster is because of how easily these challenges can be completed.

With a natural career progression in place, maybe Events might actually have some real purpose now instead of just being “complete the exact same challenges except they will be ORANGE and based on a specific playlist for a couple of weeks”

Maybe have challenge points that can be redeemed for challenge items (that way, missing a week will not mean missing an item).

  • paid points
  • challenge points

Not sure how your post got a bait emoji. This is perfectly in line with the topic creator’s poll.
