Earn a killing spree medal. WHY? I am lucky to get 2 kills per life. 343 you have gone too far with the weekly ultimate challenge the only ones that like this one are those top notch players. Those of us who rarely if at all see this have next to zero chance of getting this. How is this a fair challenge.

This kind of challenge just proves that they are for the pro people and not the average player.
Does it matter which game mode you get it in? If it does, I’d suggest pick either playing it safe in swat ( where kills are all headshots, you will need quick reactions though ) or stick to BTB and assist teammates with weapons like Battle Rifles. Make it so your teammates are the ones being fired at while you assist them for kills.
You’re goal is to play it safe, but the battle rifle will help you get killing blows easier. Working behind teammates will generally mean the enemy will prioritize those closest to them, giving you opportunities to score multiple kills without too much problems. You’ll still be helping your team too doing this, as you are supporting their advances/pushes.
Fiesta is a good spot to try for killing sprees.
And no, sprees are not only earned by top notch or pros. Matchmaking matches you with similar skilled players, just play a little more cautiously after you’ve got a couple kills under your belt.
Yeah the killing spree challenges suck.
If you can’t get a killing spree, just camp in a few different spots around the map and try to catch players off-guard.
Personally, I want more challenges that require skill like this… I’m tired of how noobish all of the challenges have become. “Get one kill with a Bulldog…” “Get XX POINTS in a playlist…” “Complete ONE match” wtf is this childish challenge crap? These aren’t “challenges” at all anymore, they are more like weekly chores.
Got to be honest this challenge really isn’t that bad. All you need is 5 kills without dying which I naturally end up getting every now and again without being all that great at the game.
I personally did this challenge in BTB social due to the large amount of players increasing your chances to live longer / chance to get great weapons more frequently. Just play it cautiously and you’ll get it eventually.
Honestly there has been much worse weekly ultimate’s in the past. 3 ranked ctf wins for a rubbish backdrop back in S1 nearly broke me lol.
Not even a challenge… a killing spree is I think literally 4-5 kills without dying. I don’t understand how anyone could not, but that off. Its not even just Halo, its all the games and any other multiplayer PvP game I play, its pretty easy to get.
Though I may be a little biased, since, my version of fun is playing to win with he best of my capability… and usually end up playing significantly better than the majority of BTB players in a casual game. But then again, play smart and anyone can get it.

I suck at this game and still get sprees here and there. This stuff aint hard chief.
i dont think this challenge specifically is unfair but rather the challenge system as a whole is. the issue i have is they have you locked to only 3 or 4 to complete at a time, so when i let loose in a match but it doesn’t reward me because it wasn’t in my challenge slots, that really pisses me off, and challenges being the only way to earn xp is bs too. who thought challenges and earning xp like this was was a good idea?!!
My advice? Go into BTB and hope try to snag a tank. Play and objective mode and focus on protecting your teammates. Tactical slayer lets you rack up the kills pretty quick. Try fiesta hope you get some lucky weapon spawns.

There have been dumb ultimates but this one is on the easy side. It’s 1 killing spree, either play BTB and try to pick off players of try your luck in SWAT and Fiesta.
I played one round of Fiesta trying to get a killing spree and I got two.
I tried fiesta for this, if you spawn with rockets you’ve got a good chance as long as it’s not the big open sandy map
I get the sentiment, but if it is a single Killing Spree it’s really not that bad. If anything it is the type of challenge where I can play the game without worrying about challenges and it will come naturally
The challenges are situation and skipping them is always an option (but I think extra skips should always be linked to events, like the Energy drink, nail polish, and candy tie-ins, so that people are encouraged to go out and buy in their local economy for a free challenge skip, not just a 200-point price tag on an online market).
