They can’t see your nameplate or emblem, and they almost never see your AR. The $20 bundle this week is for an AI with connected nameplate cosmetics.
$20 bundles should be reserved for the most premium content possible, like whole new armor kits, complex weapon skins and attachments, and then some nameplate and emblem stuff to sweeten the deal.
And honestly that’s STILL too expensive for just cosmetics.

I agree. The stuff in the store has been a ripoff from the start imo. I haven’t bought a single thing in this game except the battle pass and even that has it’s own issues with the rewards it gives. I regretted buying it at first but without it, there’s almost nothing in this game to work towards.

The only thing I saw about it was a topic with people saying the rewards stopped after the third.
Maybe you could contact Xbox customer support, or try to submit a ticket on the support section of the site (you have to click on sign-in again though).
I’m not sure if the ticket would help, but if Xbox has a live customer support section (I’m not sure if they do or not), you’ll likely get a good response.
I probably should have mentioned that on the other topic where people mentioned they couldn’t get the rewards, but I forgot…
Also, no, I didn’t unlock two items when I missed a day.
When you miss a day, that day is gone, so you can only miss about 3-4 days, I think, or you won’t get every item.

Yeah, they should’ve made it a gift event.
I could see doing it this way for Halloween and some other days like that, but the events around Thanksgiving and Christmas shouldn’t be like that.
It’s worth $1-2. It’s digital content.
They shouldn’t even need to sell a weapon and vehicle emblem separately, cause it should be streamlined as the same feature.

If it hasn’t occurred to you, it’s a number of reasons. People are either whales with too much disposable income, have Compulsive Buying Disorder (which is a behavioral disorder), or are simply regular folks who make frivolous purchases based on their interests (i.e. cat ears).
I have plenty of disposable income and would never even contemplate wasting any money on such useless things. This game is free, right? Why would any sane individual whiff money in such a way?
The problem with that is how the FTP games get funded. 343 have spent millions developing the game, knowing players can play for free and not spend a penny, but hoping they can get their money back from people spending in the store and the battlepass.
If no one does, the games won’t be FTP in the future.
I have bought the battle pass as I feel like I’m going to spend a lot of time on the game so want to give something back, but I won’t buy from the store. I don’t support that part of their monetisation model.

I don’t consider it a waste. I have no buyers remorse, I enjoy the contents I was given for the price that I paid. And I paid for it mostly with gift cards Microsoft rewards credits and I dipped a little bit into my expendable income.
I appreciate your concern for my financial well-being, but I assure you I will be just fine.
