lol I totally forgot co-op was supposed to be here by now. Well, I guess it better be here today or else they missed the ship… again.
Does this mean that if this is the “break” there’s going to be a mass exodus?
If there is a blog this week, it will be two sentences of telling us how co-op and forge are delayed again and about 15 paragraphs of useless fluff trying to explain that it’s somehow not their fault.

They also forgot to announce in the drop pod they made changes to the Snipers playlist.
Maybe co-op is already in the game and they forgot to tell anyone even now?
Or at least have an announcement today or tomorrow about how they missed the target.

Yeah, I think the people anticipating this making a major comeback are going to be in for a rude awakening.
Forge, the tool itself, is great for a small subset of players that can actually use Forge. Forge in 5 was dense and complex, which was great for making crazy maps, but sucked for the average joe (me) that wanted to just make something to mess around on. Infinite looks to be the same way.
Then there’s the existing problems. Custom Games Browser doesn’t exist yet. Custom Games are busted. If you leave Custom Games, you can get banned from regular matchmaking.
And even more lovely, is the Challenge System, that ugly little thing that keeps ruining every part of Halo Infinite. If Challenges can’t be earned in Forge, the participation rate of Forge is going to plummet - people want to earn rewards, and if the last few months of Infinite has shown anything, they’re willing to play modes they hate for hours to get mediocre rewards.

I mean do you genuinely think that they will not release any campaign content for 10 years? Or do you mean that they are likely to drop this campaign and make another in the near future.
I imagine we should expect something in the range of ODST, a new campaign in the same engine. What pisses me off is that they seem like they are going to take at least 2 years to put in a new campaign, at which point I’d prefer we just go back to the old format of full releases every 3 years.

Forge will be worth the wait, and I’m willing to wait however long it takes them. In the meantime I’ll just be playing MCC. There’s nothing Infinite does better than MCC.

Have you played halo 1,2 or 3 then. Their campaigns were incredible! 
The freedom of infinite campaign makes it incredible but the story is no way on par with previous titles.
They couldnt make it work on the old Xbox so they had to cancell it.
Im pretty sure thats a decision made by a higher Microsoft leader, they have to make all game modes working for all Xbox consoles or they cant release it.

Well I generally play with others over the internet now. Those with siblings or friends who stay nearby may enjoy split screen. It would be a nice addition to the game especially if it’s only 2 player split screen 4 players on 1 screen never worked out to well.
Probably not. They were still able to afford making another game after Halo 5 (nevermind 2), plus Microsoft as a company is more powerful than some small countries. Plus there’s still a market for the expanded media.
Halo is gonna live on for a while, that’s just the reality of that; it’s just a matter of whether they’ll ever relearn how to finish a game BEFORE they release it. Or at least how to finish it in a decent timeframe.
