To me it certainly doesn’t look like something possible through any current engine. I’ve been hearing many people say how spectacular it looked and even Certain Affinity said something about it on Facebook. I’ve seen people saying that this video was to show what the One is capable of. Did I miss something? This isn’t in-game right?
it was just a cgi cutscene.
ive also seen a lot of the same comments in regards to both ps4 and xbox one.
i usually assume if i dont see a ui, then its not game play footage.

If it was they would of said so in the trailer so I highly doubt it.
But if it was, they’ve got some good graphics!
I do not think so, but one can hope for OP sand.

Before you know it we will all be playing Sandtrap in Jedi robes.

Play Halo 5 Sandtrap Minislayer= Jawa?
It wasn’t, but it isn’t unrealistic to think that the final game will look like that. Halo 4 looked absolutely stunning, and that was on 7 year old hardware. With more experience and better tech, imagine what they could do.
The same graphics that CGI had are going to be the same as in-game. They said part of the reason for that teaser was to show the power of the XB1.
It was just a pre-rendered cutscene.
That scene probably won’t even be in the game, like what happened with the Halo 4 reveal trailer…
It was just a cgi trailer, much in the same as the Halo 3 and Halo 4 reveal trailers .
The Halo 3 reveal was in-game. Bungie confirmed that.
Nothing compares to the first footage of H2 gameplay.I remember that like it was yesterday. When the Chief picks up a second SMG and then hijacks a Ghost? Amazing.
And yes, I realize that the footage shown used a different gfx engine than the one that actually shipped, but it appropriately foreshadowed the greatness that is Halo 2.

That would be so fun! XD
It looked CG to me, but who knows what the Xbox One version could be capable of.

I am still disappointed that the actual game didn’t look anywhere near as amazing as that reveal…
It’s like when the first gameplay of Alien Colonial Marines came out but when it actually came out it was ****
