Okay, I will get started here by saying that yes; this forge is complicated and not fun for beginners. That is the sacrifice we have to pay in order to have all this cool stuff in the forge now.
Battle of Noctus is really fun, even for someone who dislikes all of the Warzone maps. It just has a good feel to it, and a lot of Polish went into it. There are some reused Garages and Bases, but the map is designed in a way that you will not even notice it. My favorite Warzone map so far.
Overgrowth is fun as well. I only played one slayer match on it, but it plays like an entirely new map, rather than a blatant copy of Plaza. I never got to play of the other forged maps yet though…
…but Forge itself is great. While it does sacrifice accessibility for a more complex forge, the tools available here are amazing; it feels like you are using a dev map creator!
