You know the level in Halo 2, “Metropolis” when you exit the highway after crossing the bridge with the scorpion and encounter unlimited jackal snipers? Yeah, I’m attempting it on Legendary and it’s not going so well; could use some advice. I’m trying to get the skull in that area but it seems no matter what I do the jackals keep on spawning. I can only manage to kill about 7 or 8 before I do a backflip.
They aren’t unlimited but there seems to be quite a few.
I’ve done some research and from what I’ve found in addition to what I am currently experiencing is that they will keep spawning until the area is clear of all other enemies. Problem is, I can’t seem to even get as far to clearing the other enemies because I’m too busy dodging purple beams of death.
I say you bring the scorpion in with you. Use the warthog as a ramp and bring it over the barrier.

Yeah I remember putting a warthog parallel to the barrier and climbing over it with the tank back in the day. It might take a few tries but I promise it will fit. You can use the same trick for both barriers.

You’re going about it all wrong. Equip the scarab gun and the skull for increasing explosions. You’ll still get the achievement
