How the hell did Linda survive? Because she’s in Glasslands and i’m pretty sure her body was carbonized by two plasma bolts from a banshee, so would someone care to explain to me how she was revived and fixed up.
Dr. Halsey probably used the same techniques used to fix the the majority of graduation-washouts to fix up Linda.
It stands to reason the techniques used to regenerate the disfigured were able to regenerate Linda.
I also assume her ceramic cranium saved her brain from being fried. The helm took the brunt of the plasma globs from small-arms fire, not a Banshee, and her cranium, combined with quick preservation, led to nearly 0% brain damage.

On Gamma station, she was hit by several plasma bolts from covenant pistols and rifles, which penetrated down to the bone.
She was presumed dead and John immediately froze her in a Cryo-pod.
The Flood - Halo CE/A
When the Pillar of Autumn was shot down, it ejected all of the Cryo-pods, including Linda’s. While the events of CE too place on Halo, Linda floated in space above the Halo.
First Strike
After John and Cortana escape in the Longsword, they detect Linda’s pod and collect it.
Once John rescues Dr. Halsey and everybody is onboard the Gettysburg, Halsey flash cloned Linda’s damaged organs and performed sugery on her.
She recovered in a couple of days.

I’m pretty sure that in The Fall Of Reach, it states that as chief had just finished killing an elite, him and Linda were in the vacuum of space trying to return to a ship of some kind and as they were about to leave chief witnessed Linda taking two plasma bolts from a banshee.
One across her torso and the other directly in her abdomen knocking her out instantly and carbonizing her bone bringing her to near death state, He then carried her body back to the ship and placed her body in cryo hoping that she would some how be restored on a later date and I didn’t her anything about her after that.
I just didn’t think that she would survive it, but obviously she did, I just want to know how, or in which book - if any, her return was mentioned, sorry to be a pain.

Thank you. I was just confused as to how she was brought back. Forget about the end bit of my most recent post, I have an answer now, that’s all I needed.
Because she’s the most badass Spartan of them all, that’s why.
