This sums up my experience of Halo 5

6 kills 14 deaths and 10 assists in slayer! Basically I see an enemy I deplete their shields and a teammate headshots them across the map. Or alternatively I get their shields down then the entire enemy team arrives to save them and mine are nowhere to be seen. Am I the only one who always has this crappy luck?

get a team, cooperate, and focus on winning.

Yea it sucks but it happens. Happens in every game with a long TTK. Frustrating, yes but it’s not something that you can change unfortunately.

To quote the Arbiter “where it so easy”.
Of my Halo playing friends one works nights where I work daytime, One gave up on Halo after Reach, One doesn’t play very often, One is to be blunt terrible, And most of the others either switched to PS4 or don’t have Halo 5.
When playing with Randoms I cooperate where possible (for example I generally try to capture flags in CTF so if I find a sniper or similar power weapon I’ll drop it for a teammate rather than risk dropping it in the enemy base) but I’m very hard of hearing so mic communication is difficult to say the least. But my focus is always on winning over individual performance.

I know there’s nothing that can change it I’m just venting. Thing is though While I’ve had games like this happen in every Halo it happens far more regularly in Halo 5 to the point where I can go entire games with only one or two kills and yet more assists than the rest of the game combined.

Also I just noticed I messed up the link so if anybody knows where I went wrong please let me know so I can fix it.

When I get into matches where we get behind early in the game, I find one of my teammates and partner with them. you can then watch each other’s backs. You don’t have to worry about getting the most kills like that. If you follow and support your teammate you will get kills that they don’t.

Good strategy but we were never behind during that match although it finished 50-49 to us and was close the whole time. Still I see your point I’ll keep that in mind for future games.
