Every single time I came on waypoint for the past few days I had to wonder whether or not it was going to work properly. Sometimes the forums won’t load, sometimes the main page won’t load, sometimes it won’t let me sign in, sometimes I get an IE not working pop up…
Is this just me or is anyone else experiencing this?
For instance… Waypoint timed out when I hit the new post button. I had to close my IE and restart it. (INB4 someone tells me to use firefox or chrome… as I use both but I “surprisingly” prefer IE)
same problem here and it isn’t to do with specific browser either since other people are having the same issue on other browsers.
i’m using FF latest version and having the problem, it is only isolated to this site only as every other site loads fine at the same time, i just have to wait a while here so it’s probably something wrong on their servers.
if you haven’t noticed, during the “waiting period” where at takes forever to load it says “waiting for halo.xbox.com”, this means that the browser is waiting for a response from the server (i think) so the problem is the server is delaying a response, why it is doing this i have no idea.

Oh, OK, good, now I don’t have to blow up my computer and get a new one.
Yeah, I have been having these problems a lot lately, takes five or six minutes just to load Waypoint. I’m going to miss Bungie if this site continues to be this slow.

You would think Microsoft would be able to afford decent servers for their sites with all the money they make.
We’re currently investigating both the forum and website loading times. When you experience this issue, is it one page or thread in particular that causes the longer than average loading times, or does it seem to be random? Any additional information you can provide is greatly appreciated.

When I go on here, everything takes FOREVER to load, except for when I’m logging in. That’s the only thing not lagging. For example, it took a few minutes just for me to post this after you BS angel.

Im in the halo 4 forum mainly, but all i can say is it works fine then it goes off for 5 minutes, and it cycles. Ill go to the reach forums later tonite and see if it does the same.

loading the homepage is fine, the problem is with the forum and it seems random, 1 time it will take 5mins to respond and the next time on the same topic it will respond instantly.

Yeah, maybe some one should time it see if it happens specifically on the minute kinda thing
Everything except the forums is loading fine for me. I haven’t been having the sign-out issue like several others have had (but that’s been happening for a while now, for them), but I have had a few pages timeout on me.
