THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN.

I’ve seen a lot of bad things done in Warzone. Either farming at it’s “best” or blitz caps just because people waited out on the armories and were playing agains randoms, so far… that can be usually justified as tactics.

But today, I want to talk betrayals in warzone. And I don’t mean the accidental explosion stuff either or a collateral with the nornfang.
[redacted: I’ve been told that leaving the DVR links here would be considered calling out and is not allowed on the forums]
Two people that a same team “driver” took outside the map boundaries just to destroy their vehicles.

Me being one of them. I can be amused by a troll or two, but this is simply wrong.
This is exactly why I think will stop doing warzone alone altogether from now on.
This kind of behavior can cost the entire team a game. AFK, go ahead and do it. I don’t care, but this should not be accepted.

Has this kind of stuff happened to you?

I had a guy repeatedly jump as I shot rounds from my tank, apparently hitting him damaged my tank and it went like this until he got killed and I got boarded/grenade. I wish someone could throw a brick through 343idiots window with “TURN OFF FRIENDLY FIRE FOR EVERYTHING” stuck to it.

I always have people try to drive me off a map or Spartan Charge me into the open, shoot me while I have a Nornfang. there are plenty of people who might be jealous of the weapons/vehicles you have that they don’t

This hasn’t happened yet to me… but calling out isn’t allowed on the forums.

People doing -Yoink- things in Halo multiplayer has been a time honored tradition of the series. Try not to pay too much attention to it.

This happens so rarely that it doesn’t bother me to much.

I think that stuff should count as a suicide somehow for him on second hit. Friendly fire is ok, but it needs to be fine-tuned for certain situations. My problem, however, is to WHY do players do this? Why would doing this stuff be fun for anyone at all?

That’s ridiculous. This is probably going to become more of a thing now than anything.

They should just remove the kill boundaries and just set up invisible walls.

Now that Firefight will be on, this kind of stuff can cost the whole team a game a lot faster.

It’s such a rare occurrence and actually won’t affect a games outcome if the non troll player catches on(and one player screwing off won’t do much, even if he tries, you ain’t winning those blowout games). I know when people are getting those ideas, it’s why I stick to the ground.

If you harass me about driving for you, I might drive you into enemy fire or to the outskirts of the map and leave you there. I don’t appreciate being nearly run over or shot at by friendlies.

This is what eventually kills matchmaking multiplayer for casual players. People just doing this kind of stuff because they are either bored or just don’t really like the game enough to respect another person’s game.

LMAO, you and me and everyone else know how important it is to stay alive in Firefight, can’t wait till this gets ruined by the same TKing. Then we can have a 6 month long discussion as to what should be done, instead of actually having it implemented. S’all good.

I was waiting and actually got a kill before the guy popped up and drove me off. I wasn’t harassing in any way. I hate it when a wraith or ghost runs me over too, but this was definitely not the case. I was in a Woodland Gauss Warthog waiting on the corner to West armory just as the Warden spawned on Spire. I just needed a driver to get there without being blown up from being stationary closer to Warden. The same person did this to another guy that spawned a mongoose to get to the armory faster and needed a teammate to go in and re-cap with. That mongoose was waiting in our base for 3 seconds on the passenger seat, ready to go and then he got driven off the map half-way through the distance. After doing that to the gungoose guy - he just saw my vehicle and did the same to me.

I spectated the whole game after to see why he’d do that and that’s how I know he did it on purpose and to someone else too, without any reason to do so.

I was on march on storm break and I was by one of the armouries we captured. And one of my teammates was in a ghost trying to splatter me. Eventually I got distracted by a enemy player and he or she splattered me.

Simple example: If I spawn in Helios to get Warden and a teammate void tear’s me out of the sky and and enemy hijacks on that can that not cost the team the game?

Ok, you have a point. I removed the links from the post. I think there should be a reporting post in which 343 can review player behavior though and I can’t find anything remotely related.

Didn’t say it applied to your situation. You honestly didn’t give enough info for me to judge I was merely speaking about these guys that spawn in a warthog, try to run you over, and the hop in the gunner seat when you look at them. As if that makes me want to help them. That is why I’ve taken action similar to what you described in your original post in the past.

Far as I know you can’t even shoot other team mates in warzone to begin onto your example it depends, is your team neglecting to attack the warden and letting you solo him? If so then yea it’ll cost you but only cuz your team isn’t playing smart, not because of one guy trolling people.

i had a scrub kill me for the sniper in BTB and i tried coaxing him into killing me two more times but he didnt, so game ended i reported him, then lucky me next game he was on the other team so the whole game i seeked him out and tea bagged his body then whole game, then reported him again.
