A while ago I was player a round of ranked slayer with 2 of my friends. There were 4 people on our team and 3 on the other so we thought it would be an easy win. We were wrong. The first member of the other team had active camp the entire fame which never wore off even if he died. (Not to mention that there wasn’t even active camp on this map) the second person never ran out of ammo. He fired an assault rifle for about 20 seconds and never reloaded. And ther third member always got a headshot no matter how far he was from someone. (That last one could also just be that he was really good)

Did this happen to be your match on Pegasus? I looked at your game history and noticed a 3v4 of ranked slayer. Active camo is on that map. The other guys just may have been having a better night bro. Being a player down sometimes makes them play much smarter as well.
There are several players who cheat in Halo 5, it’s a shame that not much can be done by reporting it on xbox. But if you’re not sure you should go to the theater and see what happened.

Could you elaborate on the cheating you’ve experienced/encountered playing Halo 5? What’s happening?

Of course, as you can see it seems that they kill you with a few assault rifle bullets, even on the other side of the map, they do not take the damage they should when someone shoots them, do some research on that and I found that cheat is called Lag-Switch but that was all what I found, normally those players play in custom matches but it’s annoying when they play ranked matches.
Maybe you’ll think that i have lag but no, my whole team have experienced that too with the same player, i don’t remember all the gamertags but at least one of them have a youtube channel where they upload videos doing that.
I also noticed that you emphasized several players, they may not be as well recognized because they play custom games more often.
So assuming that the guy who had active camo happened to spawn on it every single time (since neither myself nor my friends saw him without it or any active camo drops) that wouldn’t explain the absurd amounts of damage his teammate was able to dish out

Lag Switches are, in fact, a tool used by players to cheat in PvP games. However, lag switches only provide an advantage in P2P networking, when the host uses a lag switch. Since there is no host on a dedicated server, using a lag switch in H5 would not provide the desired effect. It would probably end up feeling like you were playing with someone on the other side of the world. It’s possible that you were simply playing against players who had naturally high ping to whatever server you were playing on (or, alternatively, your ping was high). Custom Games in H5, afaik, use P2P networking, but ranked matches occur on dedicated servers.
If you feel that a player has been cheating, you can report them via Xbox Live, but also you can submit a Player Report via the Halo Support website (support.halowaypoint.com). Note that you’ll need to provide a lot of detailed information so be prepared with video footage, GTs, links to game history, etc. Also note that just because you think someone may be cheating doesn’t mean they actually are, so while reports are always investigated, sometimes they aren’t acted upon because the investigation simply didn’t turn up any improper activity.
