I mean the Elites attacking Chief. I am trying to piece things together. In the GI article, they report Chief said “I thought we had a truce with the Covenant.”
I couldn’t understand. To my knowledge, it was only the Elites that were found untrustworthy by the prophets, eventually resulting in their departure from the Covenant, and also the Elites’ truce with the Humans.
So Iv’e picked up a couple of details about Glasslands, which I actually have coming through the mail soon. It explains how there are many Elites making an uprising, to rebel against the Arbiter, or something similar. But could that have resulted in a large number of ships outside of the Dawn? My best guess is that, maybe these Elites reformed this new Covenant, and made a whole different set of morals and beliefs, possibly not changing their stance on the forerunners. And I noticed that they are not as well armored as they once were. Maybe this “Covenant Reformation” is quite recent. What do you guys think about this?
