This right here is why crosscore MUST come to the game

What are the differences between those 2 spartans? (I’m the one far right)
I’ll tell you.
He has flaming shoulders
He has different shoulder pads
He has no chest attachment.
Those are the ONLY differences and they’re hardly noticeable.

I thought we looked EXACTLY the same at first, until I took a closer look.
This would not happen with crosscore customization

It also wouldn’t happen with more armor pieces. But even with more armor pieces or crosscore, some people just have the same tastes. I’ven’t seen anyone with similar armor in Infinite, either because I have bad taste, or because Mark V [B] is diverse enough to cater to everyone.

Fractures don’t have a lot of customization.
But even with the MK. VII, I’ve gotten matches with people with almost the exact same armor

Again, an issue with lack of available armor. Anyone who purchased the BP has basically no extra armor than those who didn’t and then on top of that, many of the coatings don’t look great so many just use Ghost Grey or Cadet something or over. Mark V [B] has the most armor customization for the cheapest price. Mark VII has four helmets that are included in the premium battlepass, the rest of the helmets are sold at a price which is deemed as to high, so only those who really like the helmet will actually buy it.
In Halo 5: Guardians, I use EVA until I can get Buck’s helmet (can’t remember the name, but it looks like ODST). I can’t do that in Infinite because Zeveda costs money, and I the only helmet that I’ve unlocked that I like is Mark VII.

That is false, you get quite a bit more customization for the MK.VII than just for free

Not to mention you get a complete other core along with customization for that

4 helmets on Mark VII. Most have no attachments, and there are very few visors to go with them.
But I do think crosscore can be good for selection, escpecially coatings. I don’t see any reason not to make all coatings cross core other than to drain content. Visors I’m unsure about for crosscore as they can seem uncanonical but Mark V [B] visors should work on the newer cores, and Yoroi visors should work on all cores except Mark V [B} and vice versa for Mark VII.

Total free armor pieces=34 (roughly, I might’ve missed some or counted over)

Total armor pieces with paid BP=36 (same as above)

So, you are actually right.
Although, this is due to events.
