Ive been playing halo for a very long time and its my favorite game of all time. Hence i wanna grind for hours in this game, and for that grinding i want to be rewarded. Dont get me wrong i dont want a credit system as in reach or halo 4. But i am experiencing that even after 4 wins in on my 24 in doubles i still wont rank. Then i get paired up with tryhard 50’s so i quit once and i go back into 23. Do you guys take the Halo franchice serious or are you just -Yoinking!- about, because at this point i can not even tell anymore.

-level 20s play level 40’s and 50’s making ranks mean nothing
-ties and disconnects equal a de-rank
-its almost always p2p and not on dedi’s
-ranked cross game playlists ties go to first slot which is always halo 2.

You know what? They only do it to make the matchmaking faster because they don’t have a Idea how to fix it. They just swept it under carpet. Cheap.
Another that gets on my nerves…being paired against players my skill level or higher, but with my team mates that don’t know how to use both sticks at the same time. It’s a miracle they rank up and I can’t

But not when entire Teams matched against single Randoms. It was not in the original Halo 2 (I think) and not in Halo 3 (I know) so they change this because they want the matchmaking finding faster.
Matching higher ranks doesnt bother me… its matching parties that annoys me and makes matches unfair. i like the balance of having matches where either side has good and bad players, makes for a fair game, whereas a team of solo’s vs a party of 3+ Just isnt fun

The ranking system will be patched on 10.27.15. It will be a paid patch, and, at $60, the price will not be cheap. But the new post-patch ranking system will work very well- probably significantly better than any previous Halo rank system. Oh, and you’ll get a whole new and improved game with the rank patch, so there’s that as well. See you on the battlefield.

There’s no population. Once you hit level 10 you can fight 25’s, once you hit 20 you fight everyone else. Back then rank differences didn’t happen till about 40

I love that you enjoyed that “5” games ranking system. It will never be Halo in my mind so I refuse to put the word in front of it

It takes about 5 wins to rank up. Why do you quit out of the game when you lose? Quitting counts as a few loses.
