I cannot begin to explain the frustration I have been experiencing.
I am champ in everything with the exception of Elimination and Arena, almost entirely by solo queuing. In both of those playlists I lose 15 CSR at the very minimum for every loss, even if it is against champs or my team quits. I only get 1 CSR a win for both despite who I play. I’ve beat Pistola, Snip3down, Saiyan, etc. to no avail, yet when I lose to them I lose 15-30 CSR at minimum. It is impossible for me to win over 15 games to every loss, especially when you factor in quitting/deranking which is extremely common, in fact I have had teammates quit my last two games which is why I am writing this post.
I am fed up,I have read all the posts about the MMR/CSR and the new "accurate’ representation of skill, but I can post countless games where I absolutely dominate people equal to or higher than my rank. I am aware that CSR rank doesn’t match MMR. I have a 1,234 kills and 408 deaths in Elimination for example, with 84/103 wins (81.%). I was champ but I lost one game and dropped to diamond 6. Last couple days I have gone on 10+ game winning streaks but lose one game and drop significantly more CSR than I gain. It almost seems as if my bar doesn’t even move for every win, many of which were 3v4 due to quitters.
It is literally impossible for me to do anything but inevitably drop rank the more I play. My performance is irrelevant. I can drop 30+ kills and still get the same result. I know I can tweet Josh for my MMR but that doesn’t solve the issue. I’ve consistently been champ in every playlist and this current season I have experienced the worst ranking system I have ever experienced in over a decade of gaming. It is beyond unplayable, it is almost as if it is designed to make me never want to touch Halo 5 again. This is more of a rant if anything because I highly doubt anything will change.
