This Poll shows what 343 is doing wrong.

Nuff said.

343 is doing so much wrong because they are not listening to the community. After I played this 1 game of Break out, I am convinced that Halo 6 will play exactly like COD.

I really dislike Breakout.

why would you post that here? that is a competitive community. chances are they actually have at least a semi-deep understanding of the game and understand what makes enjoyable gameplay mechanics.

here at waypoint we are all pretty bad, and thus inherently dislike those who arent bad. We dont really care whats good or bad for the game here. What we care about is cool stuff like post game dances and halo paintball. Balance and good mechanics can take a back seat to realism because realism obviously makes really good gameplay. We want AR starts because the low skill gap means we die less

so you can take your competitive community elsewhere sir.

Tell me about it. They do not listen at all.

I’m surprised Clamber didn’t get much hate in those polls, considering it ruins a huge aspect of Halo known as the skill jumps.

Josh’s response was basically “don’t have self-selection bias”.

I don’t know. I voted yes, even though I am a huge supporter of skill jumps. It just feels great to use, compared to things like sprint.

It’s definetly not necessary though. If I was the lead designer of Halo 5 this game would be very different.

Why do you assume everyone on waypoint is bad
lol

Sliding/Shoulder Charge/Ground Pound are so useless, nobody uses it. No complaining about that. So Sprint, Smart Scope and Stabilizers are the problem. The rest is 50/50 or positive. Flinch will be removed in full version. Well, I liked the old Zooming more than Smart Scope.

I do not understand what they do not understand; THIS IS NOT HALO.

I’d love for 343 to just change a lot of things and listen more to what Halo fans want, but they aren’t going to do that. I do like clamber, but want crouch jump too. I do enjoy Spartan Charge. I do like thrusters. I’m think slide hasn’t been tested enough, it could have potential cuz you can still shoot while doing it.

I don’t care about or asked for GP, sprint or stabilizers. Sprint has some nice balances and you don’t have to sprint all the time. You won’t see it in high play as much though. We need higher movement speed. Sprint is too incorporated into the maps, but I guess max movement speed can compensate.

Because it’s the truth.

They are useful. Takes getting used to.

More people go on there or create an account to vote a “no” on something than they do for a “yes” to something.

Kinda like Yelp for restaurants and such, people usually write reviews to complain and -Yoink- than the opposite.

Keep that in mind 343i.
