I haven’t been here very long only 8 months if I remember and wanted to post stuff about new ideas & simple lore discussion but I quickly learned what this place was about
Boring rehashed discussions that are unoriginal and simple hate, not to discredit people who actually come up with very good constructive criticism but this place is going down quick pretty quickly ever since it was released after Halo 4

Just a bunch of people who want to voice their frustration, which is fine, but most do it in a very non-constructive manner that comes off as annoying.

Pre Halo 2 launch was the last time the Halo forums weren’t a crazy negative place. lol… I still come back for more.

It’s kind of been like that since Reach came out, people kind of accepted it after a while then Halo 4 came out and well the community didn’t really pull out of the hate, well a lot of people tried to have faith with Halo 5 and well 343i didn’t help themselves when they practically ignored what most of the community feedback so the latest games are stuck in the ‘hate saga’. Which is why even right now we have mega threads wanting things to return like the Elites and Split-screen and I’m sure these mega-threads won’t vanish any time soon since 343i seem to be finding ways to annoy a majority of the fans.
Its great you come on wither defend or hate on halo 5 go to sleep and come back and have the same discussions in whole new threads its great … just in case sarcasm

It was crazy after the Halo 2 launch. That game was unbearable for the first 6 months. Might be the most memorable title update I have ever experienced. It practically relaunched the game. ~ The complaints might be overwhelming, but they are often heard.
That’s just gaming communities in general these days, not just 343/Bungie. I can go over to Bethesda or Bioware forums and see the same activity. There’s always a big hype train of everyone discussing how cool X feature would be if it was in the game and theory crafting and so on, then the game releases and everything is toxic and white knights.

There were so many problems too HAHA. And, then you also had the Standby cheats and glitches that made for some very laughably unplayable experiences. Least there’s nothing more satisfying than killing someone who’s PP+BR comboing your SMG start weapon while also Lagging you half the time or in a 1v1 where someone would Rocket you one time then go jump off to a hiding spot like you don’t know it exists. Probably the worse Halo at launch not counting HCE which didn’t have MM.
I miss the old Flood forum during Bungie days, it was epic
