Funny what happens when devs launch a live service game, ignore lots of community feedback from the betas (battlepass/challenges/customization/etc), spend two months ignoring community feedback after launch, and provide no new content for their live service game.

I feel like it’s mostly tough love, ultimately everyone on here really cares about the game and wants the best for it, even people who say they hate 343 will often praise them in the next sentence for how MCC turned out. For me, I get annoyed when 343 makes awful judgement calls but I also respect the crap out of them working for years to fix issues and address feedback/implement changes (even if they caused the issues in the first place).

343 deserves the backlash, if they refuse to act upon subjects like the store and held content, which we know is a thing now, then its consecuential.
Had the MP released with more content, a progression system, earnable commendations that are actually worth it (the sr 152 were done dirty), they were to not sell us blue 4 times for $5 each time and didnt make a system that obviously wants to strip you of as much of money as they can.
Then and only then would we not have these issues: broken promises, lies and miscommunication.
The issue is clear, we cant do anything to fix it beyond hitting them where they care, their wallet, which the player count of all platforms is already making clear.
If you want positivity then ask 343 to stop with this agenda which was clearly made by a few greedy within it.

Yeah, with how far away things like co-op and Forge are, and with knowing a lot was likely changed to get even more money from people, I’m wondering if the co-op and Forge aren’t already finished, and they’re just using them to get people to think they’re adding more features each season.

Seeing with what they found while going through the game and some bugs, the silver line is that coop is broken and forge is not complete.
However I believe it can also be a case of more time for perhaps multiplayer spartans being in coop or at least I hope so.
I’m shocked bans haven’t been given out yet.
The posts keep getting locked because of the same detractors over and over again.
I hate saying it, I really do, but at a certain point trends are really difficult to ignore.
In an article, Joseph Staten said co-op has been playable for a while (he also said they wanted it to be robust and have features players expect), and that was in November, so it’s probably not the same as what’s in the campaign.
In what way?
I don’t think it would take so long (more than half of a year) for them to add that, and I wonder how much they’re actually going to add to co-op.
I only come to say that I have been reading and writing in this forum for years, I have seen really extreme situations in which one could not wish more than that they closed this site, especially when the time of Halo 5.
But right now I don’t even want to read, I’m one of those who have certain complaints and improvements to make because Halo Infinite needs more work, but this forum has become a nest of uncontrollable hate where only spit bile, insults, cross everything out trash, and insulting and attacking anyone who says anything even remotely positive about Halo Infinite or 343.
This forum has completely lost its way and has no solution, it is no longer of any use, neither to seek help, nor to ask for advice, nor even to contribute ideas or ways to improve multiplayer. It’s just a dump where you drop your opinion that Halo is crap and 343 is personalized evil, and get your +40 votes in return from people who will answer the same.
Entering here already negatively affects the mental health of anyone who just wants to have a nice conversation.
I throw in the towel.

well I kinda expect ifnitne co op to be a different beat altogether compared ot the past halos as for linear levels I know its gonna be the same more or less but the main world and exploring thats where I think the big technical stuff will lie as taking the normal co op expeoice to that would lead to a lot of complaints
I can imagine the boss fights as well. With some of those small spaces, I can imagine 4 players would just be hectic… or all 4 with the arcane sentinel beam turning them into an ash pile in a blink of an eye.
But also just when to respawn and where. Thinking of Escheraun’s fight. I would get save points after destroying the nodes for his shields, but if I had a friend down at that point, do they respawn and where? If they don’t respawn do I still get the checkpoint with it saving with my friend dead?
Coop is literally broken, theres videos of people glitching some kind of alpha build and its in a rough shape, and Seans video shows that Joe did say some lies since the December 2020 post, a lot actually.
Forge was manipulated before and there might still be footage in YT, its incomplete and not so stable from what was found.
Lastly the MP spartan thing is just something I hope they can put in with the extra time they have.
bingo thats the questions 343 are adressing cause like I said infinities co op will be way differs then the past halos so 343 has to cover all the bases here

Days pass. Weeks pass. Ship is still somehow floating, but also scratching that reef with every move.
You start to get worried. You voice your opinion, that maybe we should change certain things.Yes you are no ship’s mate or captain, you lack the education required to make a correct assesment of all the faults at play and you can’t come up with the perfect solution for the problem.
Other passengers, being knee deep in the water just like you, tell you to “have some faith”, “give them some time” and “you can only post constructive feedback on the ships communication board”.
You ask yourself, should I stay because this is a real cool ship and we’ve seen some good times, or should I get of while I still can. You can always come back after half a year or so of more “scraping by”.

343 did not deliver on many promises they made for Infinite, the game is working ,but that’s about it netcode issues are everwhere, cheaters are ruining the game modders are using free stuff and core swapping… the game is just a mess and you just expect people TO BE HAPPY!?!

Oh come on dude, that’s high level hyperbolic.
There are way more attacks lobbed at the critics, and they aren’t given the same scrutiny as comments against the 343 defense force.

If everyone was enjoying the game they would be playing it instead of on here complaining. Its less common people come on a forum to praise a game when they could be having fun playing it. There are alot of neutral topics on here too they just dont draw as much attention
