You’re not. Pretty much everyone’s been getting uneven bursts of lag.
Tips:
Don’t try to load too many browser tabs at once. It seems like the servers gate out all requests, so if you’ve too many tabs loading, some will be stalled until others complete.
If a tab stalled because you did something (submitted a reply, edited a post, et cetera), then you may be able to successfully load a new forum tab alongside it. If, however, a tab stalled because the page load doesn’t involve something happening (viewing a forum section, entering a thread), then additional tabs are likely to stall with it.
If a load is taking waaay too long, then stop and refresh the tab.
Multi-task with other sites or programs. Find something to spend your time on.

With having no programs running and only a single tab open for Waypoint, I managed to get a much faster load time for pages. Here is what I got:

Seriously, I hope at least some of the money you guys get after Halo 4 goes to better servers.
These forums are constantly slow for me. But such an improvement since E3 2012 when they were down. I hope we get new forums eventually, I’m sorry to be so negative, but these have been nothing but chaos for most. :\
these forums are easily the slowest I’ve ever been on, I hope to god that 343 fixes the lag because I’m thinking about going to a different (albeit smaller) forum instead of this one.
I’m sorry to say that i actually stopped posting here all together because of this. I just lurk now since it doesn’t let me post half the time…lets see how long it taked for me to send this post. (ill have to copy and paste this just in case)

whats weird with me is at certain times of day the forum will lag like crazy and at others it wont at all
I’ve noticed this during the last few days at the same time the Halo matchmaking servers were down.
Well during E3 the forums were down or going slow as hell. I think it just matters how much people are on at the time and the traffic on the forums. During RTX it was slow as hell too and it’ll be the same I’m guessging at SDCC(Comic-Con)
