Me and my buddy are onyx and we’re playing with two buddies that are plat/diamond. My buddy has all the objective time, but goes negative. We won convincingly and he goes down. This system needs to change, you shouldn’t be penalized.

yea, it seems to be kinda wonky tbh. idk if i just don’t know how it works, but I’ve had games where even though i lost i was on top of the leaderboard and or had a positive KDA and it drops me pretty harshly at those times. it’s still fun though but still man, hopefully these ranks sort out soon.
I agree with you, it is pretty fun! Gets pretty competitive, but I think sprint speeds the game up just a tad too much.
I hope they tweak it and perfect it. I wish they would reinstate the 1-50 system tbh.

Yes I agree 100% I just played a match of slayer we won by 14 kills I had 15kills 11 deaths 7 assists almost 5k damage positive in every possible stat but yet I lost Hella rank points this the most garbage ranking system I have ever played in a game there is no definitive guide that says how the ranking points are scored im constantly getting games where a player rage quits or is afk or just outright gets disconnected then the team is placed at a disadvantage while being scooped up and thrown in a trash can because the teams are no longer even and the rest of the players on the team try there -Yoink!- off to try and gain ranking points 343 fix your game because I promise you that this will be the biggest flop of your company that will ever happen its a great game I love playing it but the ranking system is trash

There are quite some topics about this but the KD > Obj/W-L system isn’t productive in a matchmaking list that’s puts you into OBJ game types 70% of the time

It needs work. You should never and I mean NEVER drop from winning. Winning should be the ultimate goal in ranked.
Either that, or I’m garbage.
