I just had the longest games of Slayer ever, lasting all the way past the overtime. One of our teamates left at the very beginning, while another one left after feeding three deaths and gaining no kills. It then became a 2 vs. 4, my teamste saw the odds were hnfair and decided to leave as well, while one of the other team members left because it was too boring.
Now I was alone and had to take on 3 all by myself. We ended up tieing to go to overtime and then I won the match with a score of 46, 36 of which were my kills. I may have played very well, but it makes me angry that we are forced to stay in the game and most likely lose, it’s not fair for the people on the receiving end and it’s just boring for the ones that outnumber the other team… A 4 vs. 1 is not fun for the end with 4, unless that one person can give them a good fight.
However, what I am trying to say is, we should not be punished for leaving the game if it’s a 4 v 1 or a 4 v 2. Why should we have to sit there and have to take punishment because our teamates decided to leave because they couldn’t kill the guy that kept killing them. I understand why people get banned for leaving, but if it becomes an outnumbered situation, I don’t feel like we should be punished for saving some time, KD, or whatever else to just leave.
I’m not sure who will agree, but this just happened to me and even though I won, it still pissed me off greatly for being forced to fight a 4 v 1 scared to leave because I could be banned.

I wasn’t banned though, this is more on the general discussion of being punished for leaving when outnumbered, I was not banned.

What is the punishment you speak of op? There are many issues with going 1 v 4, can you be more specific?
I mean it’s too late now, it’s already here. I’ll just keep it here, my opinion will most likely not be heard in here or the ban thread so I’ll just keep it here until it either gets moved or buried.

I’m talking about being banned, losing your KD/KDA. When you go 1 v 4 you get that huge burden on your back telling you, you can leave and get banned or get a warning, stay and lose you’re KD, or stay and try your best to win. It’s usually a lose-lose-lose situation.
when it’s a 1vs4 some kind of mercy rule would be nice indeed
its been like this since my 1st halo game which was halo 3 lol.
