this multiplayer BS is impossible to deal with

i play lone wolf and i do not have a problem facing higher ranked opponents (higher doesn’t always mean better)… but it’s gotten to the point where 9 out of every 10 games, the other team is simply better. and it’s NOT because they are a full party/team. most of the time it’s either 4 seperate players or maybe 2 guys playing together. nothing special.

the matchmaking just keeps setting it up in such a disgusting way that i want to vomit, LITERALLY. i feel chunks coming up. on my main account i have a modest 1.11 k/d and win percentage around 53%. every freakin’ time they give me teammates who are like 1.05, 1.01 and 0.99… with win percentages around 48-50%. the other team? around 1.20, 1.21, 1.15 and 1.09… with win percentages around 52-54%. doesn’t seem like a big difference, but it sure as hell is!!

earlier today, i played a match where i went 21-4. half the match was 4v3 in our favor. we won 50-49 because i hustled to get the last 3 kills. my teammates were 12-14, 12-16 and 6-15. BULL!!! next game, same result, 50-49. i went 12-4. MORE BULL! next game, i’m 2-1… and we’re already losing 17-3. i just can’t tolerate it, so i quit. and of course, 24 hour ban.

i was able to play another match right before the ban, and lost 50-46 because i had a 2-13 teammate. who the hell plays for 10+ minutes and gets 2 kills?! this is nonstop BS, every time i play. the same thing will just happen tomorrow, or the next day, or the day after that. either i go 20-8 and maybe, MAYBE win the game… or it’s a viscious beatdown from the start. and you’re supposed to continually take it, or face an absurd ban. RIGHT!

you can’t even have fun making a secondary account. i made this name, hoping i could get back into the game and enjoy it. but, NOPE! what happens?

first game, i go 18-9… who cares? we lose. other team out-swords us 17 to 0. because, like always, my team doesn’t comprehend there are power weapons. second game? LOL! quick quitter leaves us 3v4. we’re losing 34-38… and i’m 24-12. ARE!! YOU!! KIDDING!! ME?? not with this game. i’m getting kills in bunches and my teammates just hand them right back. yet again, no interest in power weapons. i started to shut down the xbox (and someone killed me while i was doing it.) no surprise, the score went from 34-38 and finished at 35-50.

i take a look afterwards…

my teammates: 0.47 k/d (25% win) 0.55 (34.5%) and 0.21 (12.5%) YEAH? FREAKIN’ REALLY MAN? no BS there at all. no, none whatsoever.

other team: 0.96 k/d (39.7% win) 0.83 (48.7%) 0.58 (35.7%) and 0.97 (48.1%)

EVERY. DAMN. TIME. and if you don’t like it, well then you get banned. then of course you have the people who will call you a whiner and tell you to play with a team. WHY? does it say that on the box? is it a requirement? NO. it’s not. does the game CLAIM to commit to balanced, fair matchmacking? YES. they do. you should not have to get a team if all 8 players (or whatever the hell mode you’re playing) have very similar numbers across the board. but yet again, 9 out 10 games i play i have the weaker team.

another broken game with another broken system. halo will never sniff my money again.

Not going to point out the flaws in the post because I actually agree with your main point. Until you get into Onyx 1600+ it is few and far between that you will have teammates that actually seem to know how to play the game. It’s not just in one playlist either it’s across the board and even in Warzone.

i know what you’re talking about slightly though a good way to have fun is ffa or warzone assault where stupid teammates don’t matter.

Having trouble figuring out how you go double positive apparently every game yet you’re sporting a 1.11 kd. You must have some -Yoink- games yourself my dude. I know it can be frustrating to have a tough streak sometimes but I’m gonna have to guess you’re exaggerating. Good luck turning it around. If you can, try to talk to your teammates or stick with them and back them up. Or just change your attitude.

I guess you’ve just started a smurf account? Because I can only see 2x games on your profile and you claim to have play more? Of course you are going to be match with Bronze/Silver on a brand new smurf account what do you expect? The game don’t know what is you gameplay level. Placement match don’t take into consideration the wins and losses but other factor like K/D, enemies you are facing, etc.

Finish your placement match and I’m sure you are going to be match in different ranking. It’s always the same, you face really bad enemies, then you face really good enemies. System is just trying to figure out where you belong and it can’t immediately place you against Diamond i.e Maybe they would destroy you.

Couldn’t agree more! Don’t have a lot of friends who play Halo, especially 5, so I play alone and recently it has only gotten worse :confused: Warzone used to be my favorite but now every time I play it just depresses me cause the other team always whoops and at least 4-6 people on the team will quit. Stopped playing arena too cause without decent teammates you have no support and my KD started going way down the drain. Nowadays I simply just play Social (unranked) game modes like BTB or Fiesta (awesome) cause if I lose at those I dont even care. Can’t wait for Infection though!

We all deal with this kind of stuff at times and it does SUCK!

Something that bugs me more is the number of games I play in Arena or WZ and have 50% of team mates quit the minute we start to fall behind. I played a WZ game where literally 50% of my team disappeared after the other team captured all bases and within a minute or less the opposition then destroyed the core! WTF? Can’t count the number of Slayer games I’ve played with 3 v 4 or worse 2 v 4. Yes, some 3 v 4 can be blamed on lost connections, but 2 people out when we fall behind? Coincidence—uh, no.
