the first two games I was matched with people way below my skill level so they were easy wins, but because that it then matched me with people way ABOVE my skill level and i could not do a single thing, not only am I having the worst experience it’s also dragging my team down, not once did the game figure out I shouldn’t be versing these types of people for the rest of the 8 games. This sort of thing is what drives people away. Games are supposed to be fun not getting spawn camped by people way above your skill level because it has a terrible match making system

And this is why I prefer a system where you keep rising until you hit your ceiling and then stay around where you are. Yes your first few games may be easy as all hell, but you aren’t getting RNG screwed to find your rank. The ranked also sucks regardless. I won all my placement matches only beating Onyx tier players and doing consistently well. Am I an Onyx? No. Am I a high diamond? No. My cousin who lost half his matches though. He’s Onyx. Of course this was several seasons ago at this point.
It’s the season reset. MM is horrible for a couple weeks after every reset. It’s a pointless cycle we have to endure. We all know our skill level at this point, but who doesn’t love getting wrecked in placement matches?
Everyone seems to hate when they get stomped on, but nobody seems to care when they curb stomp others. (Not saying thats you Jester.)
