It’s been a week and a half and I still haven’t matched up in a single game yet. Not one. A big reason may be my NAT is set strict but I am to stupid to figure out how to change it to open. I live a sad and cold life:(
Not that hard to port forward, mate.
Its the wurst, the bratwurst.
If a broken video game is “literally” the worst thing to ever happen to you, then I simultaneously envy and pity you.
It is pretty bad, though
I even capitalized LITERALLY to emphasis that fact and then I realize all topics post with all words capitalized. Thanks 343 you never fail to disappoint…
You realize there are how to guides for nearly everything, including port forwarding, right? Hell if you don’t want to read you can find a video, or pay google(I think it’s them, maybe microsoft) to assist you directly via live video chat.

I’d do port triggering unless you want to do a static IP etc…
OMG I have found 4 other humans…!! Still sitting in lobby though waiting for more. This has NEVER happened before to me. I refuse to get my hopes up though.

I had never heard of port forwarding until just now. So I wouldn’t of known to search for that.

“Literally” is not meant for emphasis. It has a definition. (Sorry, no one seems to know what that word means and I’m on a crusade to fix it. lol)

Find the make and model of your router, then google that along with “port forwarding”. The internet is full of instructions

Your NAT is what is holding you back more than anything. Hard enough to find a game already, your NAT is just further restricting that. Just google “port forwarding” and the first site is extremely helpful and easy. The only thing you really need to know is what brand your router is.

Thanks for the info. I finally got into my first match. It was Halo 2 original Beaver Creek. Of course we only had 3 total players on the team and was heavily out numbered. It was still great and makes everyone’s troubles all the worse knowing what we are missing!
After game completion the post game report said match incomplete and couldn’t do anything but quit out of the whole app. I figure that is the bulk of what happens to everyone as well, since this was my first time. SUCH A TEASE
