This isn't Halo

I explain in the video how I’m the noob they cater too and how you VETS got thrown under the bus. explain your pain.

Looks at box, sees HALO 4 in the title

Looks like Halo to me, OP.

Send your game to me if you don’t like it. Or you can stop complaining. I’ve been playing Halo since Halo 2 and this one is fantastic.

I can tell you guys read the title and didnt watch the video lol thx for posting your prethought out verbal

Started watching but your voice isn’t nice to listen to, so I had to turn it off. No offence of course, not everyone can be a good commentator (myself included).

Want to give a quick outline here?

I listen to commentators for their views and opinions. lol
I guess you’re looking for someone that sounds -Yoink!- lol idk
If you dont care to listen, I dont care to explain.
Nothing personal but I dont want to explain a whole commentary.

I watched your video and I agree with some of what you said. Yes they did take some ideas from COD and I guess you’re right that the game does to some extent cater to newcomers. However I don’t feel that it empowers them too much. You say that you are the noob in this scenario but from your gameplay it seems like you’re fishing for compliments especially if you had such a long halo 2 career. Anyway you can’t blame 343 for trying to bring in some new players, hell I’d be delighted if halo’s fanbase grew. I have a few friends who just started playing halo with this game and they all suck, but they’re having fun! If you ask me I’d say that 343 hit the nail on the head since they can enjoy themselves going negative every game whilst veterans can still dominate.

I am pretty sure game load outs came way before COD. Everything in COD came before COD. Haha.

343i has in no way denied that Halo 4 does, to an extent, help new gamers.

However, the game is still skilled based leaving anyone who was original good at Halo, far ahead and above the noobs.

People who were good with Snipers, are still good with snipers and noobs still suck with them. People who were good with BRs and DMRs are still good with them. Those that had -Yoink- aim, still can’t aim with them.

The game still has a skill gap. Anyone who is even half intelligent and knows how to actually play Halo, will destroy a newcomer.

Im not fishing for compliments, I was just explaining how I missed two Major titles and I still can come in and win most games. I understand they have to bring something fresh, I just had hope it would be more original like they been in the past. I just feel like every game is merging into one title. I know there will always be a skill gap in halo but it seems that its easier to close the gap then it use to be.

Seeing as how the game still matches people based on skill, you are playing people who are just as skilled as you. So if you are a Halo noob, you will be playing against other Halo noobs. Thus making it seem like there isn’t much of a skill gap.

It’s not Halo, it’s Halo 4. Adapt or move along.

How would you explain me playing with my friend who sucks at this game bringing in people who suck like him?

> It’s not Halo, it’s Halo 4. Adapt or move along.

its not a matter of adapting, its a matter of originality

This game is far more halo than even Halo 2 was. I have been playing since CE and played CE online via xbox connect, was 37 in H2, 50 in TS on H3, made onyx in reach, hated reach in general and I will tell you this is the best halo since CE.

Kill times are fast, reloads are super fast, there is no more camping since PV makes hiding in a corner or behind a wall with a power weapon virtually pointless.

Im sorry but this IS HALO. if you are an H2 or H3 noob then I can understand your issue. But if you were hardcore in CE then you should love this game.

It’s not a matter of adapting, just originality?

It’s plain and simple.

Adapt or don’t If the game doesn’t feel right to you, then you as the gamer, can stop.

OP has a point, a lot of games are copying other titles (COD) which kinda sucks in terms of originality. However I think that Halo 4 still retains it’s core gameplay and the new features, I feel, add more than it removes.

How about typing it out instead of forcing us to listen to you talk…

I can walk into a Halo 4 match and only play with an Assault rifle and very easily achieve a positive KD.

I can walk into a Reach Match and only play with an assault rifle and pretty easily achieve a postivie KD.

I can walk into a Halo 3 match and only play with an assault rifle and fairly easily achieve a positive KD.

I could walk into a Halo 2 match and only play with an SMG and be lucky to get a kill.

I could walk into a Halo 1 LAN and only play with an assault rifle and be lucky to get a positive KD.

Your entire argument so far has been that originality is destroying Halo.

The point of sequels is to build and expand.

Sure, we’ve seen some of the Halo 4 concepts in games before it, but the idea is that this isn’t CE or Halo 2 anymore. There have been three new Halo games, a remake, and a RTS since them. If Halo players like ideas from other games, it only makes sense to integrate them into Halo. Halo is evolving, and no one wants every last thing to stay the same.
