This is why you need LAN,

Cuz even in 2016, you can’t keep servers up consistently. I hear they are on now (edit not on), but jeez, if not now, it should be the norm to give Halo LAN. Customs shouldn’t be online only

I mean, yea you should have LAN, but I’m not going to drive to my friends’ house every time the servers go down haha

What’s really annoying is that I can’t even Forge without the servers.

looks like im playing reach then…

i was in a intese 1v1 and we were tied then it just said disconnected for both of us and then it said halo 5 guardian servers are offline

I would probably play with Forge more often if it was. Don’t want to try and build something with the server going down while in the middle.

And yet there are going to be idiots the world over asking why it’s such a big deal to tie things into an internet connection and telling me that I’m just an old fashioned curmudgeon looking for things to be pissed about.

Yup, you’ll always find at least one in threads like these.

Lan and splitscreen would be nice, but come on having worked in IT -Yoink- happens.

I’ve said this in a thread I made a while back. LAN needs to be in Halo!!! some of us still like to get together with people in “real life” and have Halo parties. Also I’m sorry, but if MS/343I is serious about Halo being an e-sport, it needs to have LAN.

I’m getting tired of all these games that HAVE to be connected to an online source. Some things I get it, but others, like come on people.

Having no LAN isn’t 343i’s fault, that Microsoft for not having that option built into the Xbox One… I dislike it.
