Servers
Plays fine for me.
I like the dedicated servers when they work, compared to P2P that can be easily manipulated.
Only recently experienced issues I suspect were due to server overloads and possible hacker attacks. During this time 343i was working on fixing the problems and was addressed by the next day not sure how long these issues where accruing.

They may claim dedicated but their still 4,000 miles away !!!
Servers have been phenomenal since launch for me, what happened the last few days was an isolated case and despite all that I was still able to play numerous matches. I can’t speak for all regions but if you’re from North America things should be back to normal now.

That’s my point your probably less than 500 miles from the server the rest of the world at least 3000 miles or more !
21 games of multiplayer is not a good sample for the Servers.
The last couple of days were the first time they have been that wonky, before then, they have been fine. (bar Warzone Assault for Half the world, why the -Yoink- that isn’t fixed yet is beyond me)
Yeah I had MCC flashbacks yesterday but that was really the first server trouble I’ve seen. Matchmaking has been pretty quick. Only drawback is that unlike MCC I can’t go make a sandwich, and eat it, and wash the plate between rounds.

He needs 9 more games for a good random sample. Or 29 more players that played at least 30 games?

Servers are fine right now. If you are complaining about the past 2 days or week, have to remember its the holidays. If you are still lagging and getting disconnects then you may wanna check your internet.

Servers are not fine right now. I have no problem with the other games online. I have been getting disconnects and unavailable REQ service for the last hour.

You sure it’s not because you’re starving?
Someone complaining about dedicated servers? WTF would you rather play cod with a lag switcher or a host with a teleport across the map connection.
So get your money back? It’s the game’s fault that you live far away? It’s the game’s fault that nobody else in your region is playing it so it puts you on a wider matchmaking area like it’s supposed to? Halo 5 is the smoothest running online FPS I’ve ever played on any Xbox console. Yes, there’s a hiccup here or there, but it’s always corrected quickly. If you’re still having issues, educate yourself about how the internet works. Pick an ISP that is right for you, shape your bandwidth correctly with an ISP that doesn’t throttle ports, set up a Static IP to your Xbox, & put your Static IP address in the DMZ in your router. If you live in the U.S., sometimes it helps to put Google’s DNS settings in your Xbox as well. It literally takes 10 seconds tops. Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8, Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
Well if you are using TW cable as your internet provider, then that could be the cause of your problems. I know that many TWC customers, including myself, have been experiencing various degrees of server connection issues with Halo 5.
I live in the Scottish highlands, pretty remote and since day one the connection has been amazing…fastest finding and most stable multiplayer I’ve experienced…yesterday it went slow but it sorted itself pretty quickly. (I do have fibre optic though)
then get off you dial up connection dedicated servers all come down to your connetion
