This is truly beautiful.
A few weeks back, a boy’s father made a Reddit post about his son who just had a liver transplant.
Turns out he and his son loved Halo.
Simply the best damn company i’ve ever seen.

Holy cow, Bungie! Bungie is one of the greatest companies on Earth, not just for the amazing games they put out, but the work they do in the community. I teared up a bit, I won’t lie.

It is a nice thing but 343 doesn’t have to take notes from this, and this really doesn’t make them the best company out there. It is more of an Act of Kindness. They did it out of the kindness of their hearts not to be rated better than 343.

Bungie’s always been supportive for the sick and needed children. It’s part of who they are. Their act of kindness never goes unnoticed.

I know that, but when people say “take notes” it annoys me, as if bungie is only doing this because they want to be better than 343 or something. They do it because it is a nice thing to do.
I less then 3 you, Bungie.
Glad I could help in some small way.
Bungie gave that boy the helmet, but it was the community who really did it. A fan made that helmet, the fan who bought said helmet then donated it to the Bungie Foundation so it could be used for things like this.
I love ya, Septagon
It’s so great to see the service they do for their fans. Especially for someone as young as this!
Bless that kid and Bungie.
That is simply wonderfull.
It reminds me of loosing my mom about a year ago… I am the rock the family leans on so I really can’t show weakness. BS Angel was there for me in a big way and will always have my respect.

Some here will argue that since Bungie did something like this and 343 did not, 343 aren’t supportive for sick and needed children.
Class act Bungie and the guy who made and donated the helmet.
That will have lifted the little guy’s spirits alot and undoubtedly helped with his recovery.
Fired reach up and had a good feeling when looking at the Bungie logo at the start.

Not one person here said that.

I’m sorry. Bungie doesn’t do things (charity) just to be the best. They do it because they care.
She did that, album? I didn’t know. I remember this one guy who had I forgot what, 343i gave him blue flames and haunted. It was nice.
That’s nice of bungie and all the people involved to do that. I liked what they did for Haiti as well.
Great story.
It’s so great to see a company who values their fans to that extent. Good one, Bungie.
I love you Bungie
[Snif] This is many of the reasons why I love Bungie very, very much. We support Bungie while they support the community. It was very supportive of Bungie to offer their service to the family. Excellent news! I wish that I joined some of their charities back in Halo 3 when Haiti happened but there will be next time. Keep kicking mule, Bungie!

They had one in 2011…
