This game should live up to the hype. Even though 343 didn’t rush this game like the disaster of battlefield. They need more unique maps, no remakes. All remakes can be saved for Forge, Halo 5 had a great forge editor, even though some maps looked bad, many that had a mix of indoor and outdoor environments looked great, some indoor to. A separate company is creating Forge this time, I think they should do away with that cartoony plane looking Forge design and make it more realistic.
As for 343, they need an epic Warzone game mode. 100 vs 100,. There should be a capture point Warzone game mode without the PVP elements. It should be UNSC vs Banished, the ability to play multiple different beings from Halo. This could get complicated so matches should be balanced, there should be faction alignments to, choosing your desired faction like COD Warzone has. Kigyar vs UNSC soldiers could be one game mode. Elites vs Spartans. The UNSC and Kigyar should have half the HP of a Spartan/Elite but theirs should recharge quicker.
At launch I hope they can at least release this game with 23 maps, that would be suitable. They should be well done maps with unique themes, too many maps in Halo 5 had industrial complex themes, even though I liked the aesthetic of most of them. Colosseum looked a bit bland, it still lacked a diversity of themes.
A Jungle map for close quarters would be nice, remember that Halo takes place on multiple worlds. Perhaps a planet with a purple sun to make it look exotic, some uncharted unknown area.
Warzone Game Modes: Capture point without PVE elements , TDM. Base conquest, perhaps a base vs base game mode where you need to destroy the enemy base, it would not use Req packs.
This first massive warzone game map would have to be well designed. Perhaps releasing a new Warzone map once every 3 months.
If it doesn’t have features like this then I fear the game will be too much of the same and many people will get bored of it. 343 can use my ideas, I won’t try to boast about trying to influence them or brag about it. I know game developers have a lot of pride and may be emotionally attached to what they created so they may see me as some egotistic self absorbed type who is trying to direct development of the game. I am not, I am just thinking of what would be most fun for me to play, that is what gaming is, having fun and/or taking it seriously.
