Atrocious biased servers. Literally unplayable for anyone outside the US.
Barely any gamemode diversity. Slayer, strongholds, Flag and Breakout. We had 12 in Halo 3.
Repetitive boring maps littered with power weapons.
Inaccurate checkpoint ranking system.
Unfair matchmaking, teams vs solo players.
Lack of punishments for unsporting conduct and quitting.
Poorly judged spawns.
Some of these alone prevent the game from being playable all by themselves.
I challenge you community, attempt to make me a list of the good points. Even one redeeming feature.

Several unplayable games in a row on American Servers has caused me to give up on this game.
If no one can bring to me one redeeming feature I don’t see a point to continue playing.

Careful what you say, might upset someone in the community for pointing some of the problems out.
Halo 5 is a weird game for me, I agree it is the worst Halo, yet it has the potential to be the best, and sadly I don’t think it is going to reach that potential before 343 turns their attention to Halo 6
1 - I play in the UK, over Wi-Fi, and never have issues, infact, I think I’ve had 1 DC to date, so you’re wrong.
2 - I mainly play Warzone (which is new), not fussed about Infection but whilst I agree we need more modes and pve, there’s enough to keep me playing a fee hours most nights
3 - maps seem fine to me, but would be awesome to have dynamic map events (think BF4) or weather cycles etc
4 - what?
5 - like every other online game then?
6 - there are punishments?
7 - most games I’ve played seem to have the occasional iffy spawn, halo 5s seem fine to me (other then spawning on a random team mate in WZA who’s nowhere near anything)

I personally live in Australia and have no trouble at all finding games, arena is a bit harder but when I do find games the connection is always clean
Adding more playlists soon which has been talked about constantly.
Community Maps, along with new maps are being added soon. Littered with powerweapons? Have you played any of the other halo’s?
Ranking system does need a few tweaks but it’s fine. It’s not like you get dropped from Diamond to gold for loosing 2 games.
Again, Have you played the other halo’s? That comes with any game, party up vs solo’s. It cannot be helped, it will happen regardless, no matter what game. (Unless theres a feature for party v party)
3 Quits = Ban up to 2+ hours, along with betraying or suiciding enough, also along with deranking. 343i has gone over this already. You say its to light, some say its too harsh.
Going back to point 3 and 5, all halo’s had some bad spawns. If you knew where the spawns were in halo 3 spawn killing was inevitable. The spawns rarely put you out of cover, and you do have alot of options to escape or fight.
Instead of listing good points I’d just rather talk about whats wrong with yours.
There are only 6 game modes you left out warzone modes but more are coming next month so I’m not panicked
I don’t believe teams should ever be put against randoms…The whole “You shouldn’t play without a team” BS wouldn’t exist if teams were locked against other teams this would also get rid of complete blowout 50 to 1000 warzone matches…
I also agree on lack of punishment for unsporting behavior people can AFK warzone assault for hours ob end by making sure they press any button in three minutes… Why in the hell can’t 343 detect someone rubber banding their controller to spin around and req farm…

You play “Warzone mainly” so you have no clue about Arena.
There is severe server issues, particularly with regions.
You’ve agreed with my point.
Compared to previous Halo games there is nothing that stands out or even competes. Would of been better off just making remakes like Truth.
Arena Ranking seems to just give away Onyx ranks like they mean nothing. Servers are playi a hand at this.
Claims to be a competitive game but doesn’t play a part in setting up that compettveness. Who actually still enjoys pub stomping.
A small time-out isn’t a fitting punishment, if it was they wouldn’t do it again would they.
I have a video of my friend being spawn killed five time in a row…
Balanced weapons - Balanced maps - Music returned to Halos roots - Campaign is more open now - Machinima mode - More visor options - Drop in drop out Co Op - Occasional decent Free DLC - Competitive Halo is back after 8 years - Banning system - Seasons - Skill search system - Blue team - Arbiter - Elite Home world - Forge weather effects - Forge grouping - Better Forge budget system - BuckSaying that there’s no good points about Halo 5 is clearly wrong. Everything in existence has its positives and negatives, some of your complaints are very justified but some of them are just down to individual circumstances. Even some of the points on my list could be down to personal preference or circumstance.
why do people always -Yoink- about this game sure it lacks content but its still a great game overall if you hate then dont play it and move onto another game you like stop whining about it god i hate this community

None of these balance the massive amounts of negatives…
“The game is basically unplayable with these server issues, but atleast Bucks in the campaign”…

Unfortunate but true
Agreed
Same can’t be said of past halo games? A map is a map to me, none really are memorable to me even from h2 or h3.
What do you mean by no checkpoint in ranks?
Has also been in past halo games, none have had a true ranking system that flawlessly works but h5 actually has a ranking system rather than an xp based like reach or h4.
There are punishments, you still see people complaining its to strict and others wanting it to be more strict, there can’t be a medium here.
While true, past halo games have awful spawns too, h5 just has the worst besides halo CE.
