If you want to reach ALL HALO PLAYERS, this isn’t the place to do it. Only a small fraction of all Halo players go to the Waypoint forums.

Personally I’m ok with sprint, but I’m just going to point out it was Bungie’s idea in the first place.

I have no idea why this is even such a big deal

Girls play Halo too…

Hi ShockTrooper! I’m Arc Trooper. Nice to meet you.

Are playable Elites like a -Yoink!- or something?

Not all Halo players use the forum, I’d recommend posting this to other forms of social media to reach more audience.

Wouldn’t be surprised honestly.

Since halo CE people wanted to play as elites cause they are on the same level as Spartans then when they had jet packs every one wanted jet pack.

Its halo privilege

Long story short it was the easiest way to say you’re an honorable player. Not sure if you’re aware of this but most Spartan, marine, army or ODST clans we’re -Yoinks!-, which is why I steered away from them. What made things worse was the fact that there we’re rarely clans that accepted all types of fans, there was clear hatred between the groups and constant rivalries. The majority of the time if you played as an elite you shared their values of honor and distinction and didn’t want to be apart of the rabble. It was more of a sign then a body choice.
To anyone who ever complained that Elites we’re too hard to shoot, I’ve always said, “Shutup, you’ve been fighting them before you we’re fighting Spartans.” The whole “you can’t shoot them form the back” thing was just the cry babies winning. I don’t even play as an elite and never had a problem with it because while they weren’t easy to shoot from the back, a jump shot always gave you the head shot on them from any angle and they we’re easier to shoot from the front, the sides, from above and below. From the front, a body shot was a headshot, from the side, above and below was super easy because their heads stuck out making it a trival shot for any player to hit.
Ergo, it was actually easier to kill an elite from literally every other angle expect from behind but since people cry about one problem instead of the 3 solutions they got taken away.
I fought with Sangheili clans on a regular basis and made great friends from within and their removal did nothing good for Halo. It just showed everyone that if you cry enough you’ll win.

The bolded part is just your experience. I played just as many -Yoink- bag elites as -Yoink- bag spartans.
The second part is a legitimate gripe as the hit boxes are inconsistent , and that is kind of a necessity for FPS’s. People complaining had nothing to do with their removal , because just as large a group has been vocal about their return and it hasn’t changed. This was a 343 decision to work with the whole Infinity MP story line.

Any time something happens that a group or individual doesn’t like , they try to call out some other part of the community instead of the developers who made the decision. Maybe instead of name calling , try looking at the actual culprit.
