This is scary...

Guys, can you mind a future (And for future I mean H5/H6) where Reach’s maps like Sword Base and Boardwalk will be remade and considered “classic” maps? This scaries me…

…in a playlist with AA, called classic Halo D=

It scaries you huh?

I dont know who would call them classic but okey dokey.

They’re classic in regards to only being on Reach i guess…

And every Halo has had remakes in them.

Reach had the least though.

The only Halo: Reach maps that I wouldn’t find scary if remade in future games would be the maps from the Noble and Defiant map packs such as Highlands or Tempest. Though, I have always enjoyed a good game on Powerhouse.

I wouldn’t mind Tempest popping up again, but that’s it for ‘original’ Reach maps. The rest can go.

Countdown and Uncaged are about the only maps I would ever want to play again.

Zealot, Anchor 9, Tempest, Highlands, and Powerhouse are decent maps. The rest are garbage though.

This man speaks truth.

the man speaks bull. zealot is probably the worst map in the game.

I wouldn’t be too worried. Remade maps are typically the ones people loved and demanded the most, and as of right now, I don’t see too many people clamoring over Boardwalk’s awesomeness (although I, personally, love the map!).

The only problem I have with Reach’s default maps is how they’re all recycled from Campaign.

I thought it was the other way around? The maps were designed for MM and then stuck in the Campaign?

Either way, they’re interchangeable. Which, to me, leaves a lot unoriginality somewhere in the equation.

Yeah, that’s how it is. Just look how Reflection occurs in the campaign level “New Alexandria.”

I guess the same architect who designed Sinoviet Center on Reach moved to Earth after the glassing and designed Ivory Tower.

Good point. In my opinion, multiplayer should never take priority over campaign. Equal levels, maybe. But priority? Things start to become disappointing.

Only difference between Reflection and New Alexandria? Couple of AI’s and nighttime. Same with Powerhouse.

Sword base with a yellow lift that goes down one floor to the larger room would be perfect

Snickerdoodle is right. One of the Bungie Podcast back in spring of 2010 confirmed this. The maps were made for MM then put into Campaign. Most people think it was the other way around.

I think most people think its the other way around because it feels like the other way around. Some maps have whole areas that are never used.

What you did there…I see it.

Halo CE and Halo 2 = Classic…

If they start remaking reach maps outside of forge in H4-H6 then were gonna have problems…
