I don’t know where to start. Do some of guys play Halo just to look for ways to complain. Honestly, take a look through the forums. Complaint, complaint, complaint, complaint. I swear some of you guys would complain about your mothers womb if your vocal cords were developed enough at birth. Some of these complaints are completely invalid as well. There are even complaints saying that the graphics don’t look good enough? What? As far as the game becoming COD is just the speculation of the uneducated. COD does not own the features you are accusing Halo of stealing.
Sprinting? Seriously? You think COD owns that?
Pushing X to respawn? Try every FPS on the market
Killcams? How can you get mad about an additional feature that you can skip?? Why not have the option of seeing how you died? It’s not even in the majority of the modes?
Loadouts? Not COD exclusive, and since none of the weapons are overpowered what is there to cry about besides for crying sake itself?
You’re complaints of this turning into COD are based on a lie that COD owns these features. Stop being naive and open you’re eyes. Halo evolved. Halo evolved and further adapted into what an FPS should be, and somehow 343i was able to do that without losing that ‘Halo’ feel us fans have enjoyed for a long time. Please stop whining, get off these forums, and go play COD when it releases tomorrow.

People complain because they love Halo, and want to see it improve, through ways they see fit, whether you specifically agree with them or not. They complain because they care, if they didn’t, they would just play another game if they got too turned off, but they’re here, trying to invoke change. Please have some understanding. Thank you.

the complaints about the DMR are justified, the complaints about 343i removing POPULAR gametypes for NO REASON are justified and valid too.
what about removing the fine tuning in forge? was it a bad decision to include it in Reach, overall? nope, it was great. why did they remove it?
if we don’t tell them where they screwed up, they won’t know what to fix.
The reason why it looks like there is so many people complaining is because everyone who enjoys it is playing the game (very few on here) and not on the forums.

Ya but when people complain about the gap in cortana’s teeth or they don’t like the way their spartan looks and these kinds of topics over saturate the forums its a real pain to find the ones that are actually about something.

It’s gotten to the point where 343 can’t look through the forums because there are too many stupid complaints ( E.G. OMGZ 343 HAZ TURNED HALO INTO CALL OF DOODY) ( E.G. 2 Hi. Im a legit hardcore halo fan. Halo is no longer Halo. Bye) out there that drown out the legit ones.
I’ve never complained about COD or Halo stealing from the other. My complaints are on missed opportunities. Take the Thruster Pack. That AA would be absolutely awesome in Spartan Ops if it was tweaked as high or higher than the Flood.
It just feels so wasted because one faction of the community hated player’s who used EVADE in Reach, but in FireFight Limited it was bloody essential. Yet here we are in Halo 4 with a glorified fart skip and a hop that could be soooooo freaking great.
There is the constructive complaining, which makes up about 10% of this forums posts. Then there is the butt hurt, fanboy, nerd rage complaining where people go through the game, find the smallest thing to complain abut and turn it into a 10 page thread of asinine replies. I’d say that makes up the last 90%.
It’s typical and to be expected. All game forums are like this.
The best part about all of this though which has REALLY made me laugh today? The complaints about Halo 4 where people saying things about Reach were better are really killing me knowing how bad Reach has been demonized for the past 2 years.
It’s simply the cycle repeating. When Halo 2 came out, many people HATED it compared to CE.

It’s the cycle of Halo.
Halo 2 came out, Halo CE was better. Halo 3 came out, Halo 2 was better. Halo Reach came out, Halo 3 was better. Halo 4 has come out, and now people are stating to say Reach/3/2/CE (take your pick) were better. It’s the circle of life for Halo. Every time a new one comes out, everyone hates it and wants the previous one back.
Just go check out the old Bungie forums and you’ll see what I mean.

When will people learn? The people that like the game are out playing it and having fun. The ones that don’t like it come to the forums and complain. Do you call the cable company and tell them their service works great or do you just call and complain when it doesn’t work right?
It’s been and always will be this way. Get use to it.
And to be the exception to the rule, I still think Halo 2 is the best with Halo 4 probably being second.

People complain more about the game than actually playing it.
