I have not figured this out, and I am almost ashamed to ask because it is probably something very simple, but how do you give your waypoint flag (that controls where your troops go after they come out of the base) to a unit instead of making the flag stationary on the ground?
I have played with people whose infantry can carry the flag as they move around the map. I can’t figure out how to do it.
You just hover over the unit you want to carry the flag, and press up on the d-pad. Just remember that the restriction on placing it too close to a base still applies!
of if you are on pc and use keyboard its the Y key or R for the rally for individual building
Assigning the rally point on a unit can sometimes be kinda buggy. You might hover over the unit and set the rally point, but it will simply place it on the ground next to them. It may take a couple of tries. It is easier if the unit is moving in my opinion.
