This is probably my last firefight Thursday.

Good bye firefight. I wish my last game had been a limited match with team players who knew what they were doing, falling back, advancing, trying to stay alive, while racking lives rather than wasting them. But that’s Reach. It was grueling in the beginning with the thirty minute time limit, players would quit leaving you to fend off ultras and generals. The drop ship could never miss. The fuel rod grunt would always be ready to spam and those fragging jackal snipers on the cliff. Oh those jackals, remember kids every time you kill one of those an angel gets his wings.

Then arcade appeared and the thirty minutes went to twenty, which was good till it went to a farming mentality. Afks got their spankings and sweet sweet Limited, well I’ll miss you much like fiesta fight.

Well that’s it see you all in Spartan Ops.

Limited actually got voted on for me yesterday while searching solo. Not only did it get picked, we actually finished it!

Firefight was fun, when it was in ODST. Reach just had a boring firefight all the time.

I have some fond memories of Halo: Reach’s Firefight, but not many… I certainly don’t recall it fondly.
