This is pointless and Jaw dropping...

First off I played a little H4 then Reach then H3. Then for the first time I realized H3 has more sensitive thumb stix over the others. I can asume H2 and H1 is the same as H3. This is so dumb they would do this. H4 and Reach I have to move my thumb stix about one mila meter before my cursor even moves. Who’s the jerk that would think a delay in the thumb stix would help a players reaction time? On top of this terrible added thumb stix delay we have to put up with slow turn controllers, sigh… Any way in H3 the reaction of the thumb stixs are super smooth and flawless. Then in Reach and H4 it just has a limited aiming delay.

No wonder why people have to go out and drop $99.95 on a top of the line controller. Its because games are designed to make you do it, just so you can change the response sensitivity higher like the game should of had in the first place.

I could play 7-8 sensitivity in halo 3, but halo 4’s i have it at 10 and it still seems super slow. Dont know what it is, it just seems super slow.

Leave it to the community to complain about a MILIMETER.

Im not really complaining just pointing out that the sensitivity settings dont feel like they do enough for it.

In H4 and reach you have to move your thumb stix about 1 Mila Meter to the left before it starts to turn. In H3 any movement in the thumb stix to the left turns it instantly.

This is a FPS reaction time is EVERYTHING. Why would anyone want this is just crazy for any game not just Halo.

Uh, there is also the resistance of the controllers stick to account for.

And also, FPS Freeks are great for more accurate aiming.

This is like reaching for a object in some ones hand then they pull there hand away just out of reach. Only it happens every single time you aim. Its annoying.

I think I’d go insane trying to play anything above 6 in this game.

This just gives a HUGE advantage to people with better controllers.

It’s better for people with busted controllers like myself, whose controller will drift without that delay. I hate stupid super sensitive control schemes. Most of the time it’s not necessary.

So me playing on 10 and still thinking its too slow wouldnt work for you?

Most notable is the keyboard and mouse since the mouse completely bypasses the in-game sensitivity by easyily 2-3 times its speed at 10 with 0 delay time, not to mention with far higher precision. Its making me want to get it too since its not against any rules, but i lack 100+ dollars to just blow at the moment haha.

So you think just because MS controllers are cheap junk they have to nerf the game and make it worse for everyone?

I always set my speed to maximum to make sure that nobody is trying to assassinate me, I do it in all games that I play due to the fact game creators like to surprise you.

I felt like the default sensetivity was high on halo 4 compared to 3 and reach. I have to play with it set to 2 or 3 just to get that sense of smooth steady gameplay I had in the previous games.

Yes I agree so much its just crazy how they force you to throw your money away for something that should be standard in the game.

9 times out of 10 different games will have different sensitivity rates. That being said I would expect h4 and h3 sensitivities to be different since they were made by different companies.

I 100% believe you are just reaching for stuff to complain about at this point, just like about 95% of the topics you’ve created in the last month.

I don’t really care eitherway.

I just don’t see how you guys could possibly play that high.

Neither do I, I used to play on 7-8. Put halo 4 in on launch day and i had to crank it up to 10 and it honestly still feels way too slow.
