This is pathetic

Check my game history if you would like. I’m losing nearly every game of warzone I play. I don’t have enough friends online to play in a party so I play solo for the most part. I only play arena when I have at least one other friend on. It’s too tough to win in there without communication. I’m playing warzone though to chill and recently and it has become the same garbage as arena.

I’m getting matched up against teams when I’m playing solo and going up against ppl bringing out mantis, oni scorpion, banshees after banshee. My highest req is an ultra banshee. I don’t even have an ultra ghost, dmr, or even spartan laser. I got matched against EG Snipedown and his team, held my own but team got annihilated, and then got matched with them again! Granted the second game went better but still, why is the matchmaking so unbalanced? Is this game that dead already? Not enough of a population? Don’t get me wrong. Very few games have been close and good, win or lose, but I feel nearly 80% of the games I’ve recently played, my back is to the wall. I don’t know if I’m just having bad teammates or what on top of it.

Also, who at 343 thought it was a good idea to have you spawn at the person farthest from the base in warzone assault? I’ve lost a few games just because of a troll or noob running back to the core, and me spawning too far away from the objective to contest. Honestly, how did this spawn system pass through play testing? Why do I spawn in front of an enemy or tank? Why? Simple decisions made by 343 that are so idiotic, it makes me doubt their ability to handle this franchise.

This is so frustrating and at this point, I think I’m close to being done with this game. I want to just play to relax and chill, but there is no fun in constantly getting pounded on. There is no casual playlist in this game. Warzone should have been that chill playlist, but the matchmaking is horrendous, and most matches my team is getting shredded. I’m doing everything I can, but there’s only so much to be done when you are going up against a full team or multiple people who have paid to win and have every req in the game. At this point, I need to find ppl through a 3rd party app and get a party of 6+ just to have a decent chance to win and enjoy the game. It is ridiculous that I can’t enjoy this game solo. Having friends play with you should make the game funner, not be a req to enjoy it in the first place. Don’t know if anyone else feels the same but at this point it’s just too aggravating.

I agree… Before I used to just play games to play, now I’m bored unless I have friends. It is what is its though, just a matter of personal experience.

Good counter for me however, I just listen to spooky stories on Youtube while I play and some how I always do much better.

I agree, in my experience with Warzone 1 team usually wins 1000-300, and sometimes you are on the winning team and sometimes you arent, even if you do amazing there are just too many people on your team to drag you down!

Right there with you. I play warzone because I get hard wrecked in arena on the daily, but even lately I can’t hold my own ground because my team starts off bad and then we get pinned in our only base by tanks, ghosts, banshees, wraiths, and all kinds of other death dealing machine with snipers galore. If you don’t start of hot as a team often times you’re in for a long match trying to make the game at least enjoyable.

OP you have a 59% win percentage in Warzone. That’s better than average. What’s the problem?

The part that frustrates me is 95% of the time if you don’t capture the middle base (fortress, garage, spire) before the first team at the very start, it’s basically over. I’ve seen this way too often. So it’s a panic to get it now, now, now… Or else. Cause those marines do a little damage, but enough to help that’s for sure. And even when there is a push to overtake it, it’s tough overtaking a big centerpiece with people flying at it. Yeah, you can capture their west or east point, but as soon as it’s grabbed they’ll run from the midpoint and grab the other side. It happens over and over. Capture the middle at the start to win.

40% win percentage. I’ve only won 6 out of the last 20.

Add me if you want - i’m not the best, but i try hard.

I think people emphasize the importance of the middle too much. If the enemy captures the middle and doesn’t expand aggressively - like just holds up in Fortress - they miss out on the rest of the opportunities (bosses and such).

If each team has an armory and continues to rush spire, it becomes a war of attrition.

For me, winning is either really close between the teams or a complete landslide.
It just depends on the team as a whole, and if they know what they’re supposed to be doing. I’ve been in a few games to where my entire team refuses to go for the boss kills, and lets the enemy team kill them while my team takes the bases. It’s like the whole point of the gamemode flew over their heads, or they’re just new, which is completely understandable.

Overall, it depends on the teams overall experience, and whether or not they’ve played a lot of warzone. I’ve played quite a lot of Warzone, and I practically know where all the bosses spawn on each map, and when they do. Many teammates don’t know this, but that’s just fine, I don’t entirely expect them to. What I’d at least want out of them was to at least try and get the killing blow on a legendary.

I play just to play, friends or no friends. My favorite is warzone but I go into arena as well.

Warzone matches dont put you with people int he same skill level.

I know right? Mine is in the 40’s and I’m not gonna complain. I do the best I can and that’s all you can ask of your random teamate.

If you check my Warzone game history, i lost 10 games in a row mainly because the opposing team kept killing all the bosses. Even though i had enough power weapons to take them out, some -Yoink- would get the last shot on them. After using my entire laser on that Phaeton boss someone gets 2 to or 3 BR shots on it and gets the VPs for it. Playing solo is very difficult in this game, its becoming less and less fun. :frowning:

I play exclusively by myself. I win 50/50 and we don’t usually lose by much.

I don’t know what how you play… but sometimes you have to take the initiative and go lone wolf on certain things.

Monday I JIP a warzone game where they were 500 and my team was at 100. By the time warden eternal come around it was 800 them and 400 us. While everyone was going for the warden, I captured the bases(solo) and exposed their core. We ended up getting the warden kill and then took out their core.

I have had a bad few days in Warzone haha. Losing Losing and more Losing

You can make NEW friends online…I did, I never go into Warzone alone as a result!

My warzone experience has been 50/50, but there was one time when I went against a highly coordinated team. It was on APEX and the blue team rushed the first control point and wiped the floor with us. Within the first 3 minutes had all of the bases and red team could not get traction. It sucked.

It’-Yoink!- or miss, sometimes I get on winning teams that play well together, and other times I get with a team that can’t pull it together.

Hey man, add me. I’m always down to play warzone, and I’m a pretty decent player who usually finishes at the top of the leaderboards.

Yeah maybe I should try that. Nothing else seems to work.

Yeah for most of the time I feel like some of my teammates are just too incompetent and then at the same time I’m getting matched against a full coordinated team. It’s a joke.

It was 64%. It’s now 57% it just keeps plummeting. I don’t mind losing but I’m tired of constantly playing in lopsided matches. There is no fun in spawning and not being able to move without getting tanked, mortared, sniped, etc.

Right there with you. So many things make it not fun to play. The match up system, often not fair. Taking the center base over once occupied: hardly fair. The boss system, which is a nice add on: UNFAIR, since the last shot gets the points, no matter who put the work into it. Last but not least, the reqs: SUPER UNFAIR, once the killing is going, one team can afford all vehicles and power weapons and the other maybe a railgun or alike. And if it is not the specials, it still comes down to one team having DMRs and such when the other still has basic ARs. Hope that 343 will think of a way to balance that stuff, or it will remain unfair too often.
