I donāt think the release date shifted at all. I think the 15th was the plan all along and Campaign was āstealth delayedā rather than the MP pushed forward. Due to 343 definitely knowing about all the buzz going on and their complete silence on it (where they always come out to tempter expectations) makes me believe itās going to happen.

Not only that, but the fact all promo countdowns are shifting to the 15th. Pringles is just the easiest to get to.

I think 343 had the plan to release MP on the 15th in their back pocket for a while, and they were just waiting to see what the reception to BF and CoD were going to be.
Since those both havenāt faired great, Infinite can take over gaming, and 343 is pulling the trigger on Nov 15th 
.

With how big this has got and neither xbox or 343 shutting it down, it could actually be happening, why let it build up and then xbox event comes and nothing apart from new media etc, something going onā¦

This is unlikely.
343i are releasing it early for a couple of reasons:

Competition. Battlefield/CoD are both already out, so 343i wants to release it a bit early to compete.
-
its F2P. 343i/MS donāt lose money from this, in fact it would only increase profit unless its somehow far worse than the flight and is unplayable.
Edit: These are hypothetical reasons, but doubt anything else really motivates them.

early access out for battlefield, game comes out 19th I think, If 343 dropped infinite mp 15th it would literally wipe out bf/cod and Infinite would dominate November and December, it would make sense to drop it early, internet already overloading with Halo Infinite searches lol

Halo 4 IIRC was also extremely hyped up and anticipated, obviously didnāt mean jack long term.
This is not to compare Infinite to 4, this is to just calm the hypegasmocalypse a bit so that if Infinite isnāt the next coming of Jesus we wonāt be disappointed.

Slow your roll, there son. Halo Infinite Multiplayer is rumored to be releasing on the 15th but it will be early access and only multiplayer. The official release is December 8th!

Considering November 15th is only 2 days away and Waypoint still says December 8thā¦ Iāll believe it when I see it. Unless you can show me something official from Xbox or 343i.

If it happens, and Iāll believe it when the community team confirms it only, my expectation would be it would be some kind of open access/season 0 type deal - likely some things not yet available

Nothing official, usually with rumours like this or even amount of talk on forums 343 have usually shut it down, but oddly it still continuesā¦

Yeah, everything looks like some form of early access multiplayer, just like Battlefield did. 343i usually would say āno, this is wrongā when it comes to this type of stuff, particularly with so many game news sites reporting on it, but theyāve been quiet.
I just pre-installed the multiplayer too, last night.

To be fair, what isnāt being mentioned can be more important than what is.
Let me give you an example of another game.
Gears of War 5. I followed GOW5 very closely for many months, one thing that stuck out to me was that TC (the coalition) at no point ever denied DLC rumours, and they also would never mention/discuss it on their streams, so I predicted (this was like a year post launch or so IIRC) that it would definitely receive a DLC, people were like āthereās no way theyād have the time to do thisā or āTC havenāt given us any reason to believe theyāll have a DLCā and lo and behold they did end up releasing the Hivebusters DLC for Gears 5 a few months later.
The whole point of this tangent isnāt just to humble brag, the whole point of me saying all this is that companies indicate/tell us more than what might be obvious, reading between the lines and trying to understand them will tell you far more.
Edit: 343i/MS not outright denying it is evidence in itself, there are other things like promotional websites, competitive orgs, and some leakers that have also leaned into this rumour. Now this could all just be an elaborate way to encourage people to watch the presentation, but it could also be truth.

Sure, Iām not disputing the possibility. Just saying Iām not going to get hyped for it. Iāll check in on the 15th to see if multiplayer is live.
well itāll either be a stealth drop or itāll be a huge announcement, so either way its probably the most important day until December 8th for Infinite.

Type āHalo Infiniteā into Google and look at the number of major news outlets reporting on the rumor.
At this point, I feel like with that volume of highly credible sources reporting the story, no response from a community person is almost as good as actual confirmationā¦
