I did this on legendary last night by myself and it took me two hours, I’d be willing to say it was the hardest achievement since the firefight one in ODST.
It honestly wasn’t that difficult for me. Just use the LR and avoid most enemies. I barely ever used my Magnum.
Yeah, it wasn’t really that difficult for me. I started off on Legendary and just looked at the achievements that I could get on my first run-through. I ended up with This Is My Rifle This Is My Gun, Mortardom, Explore The Floor, and Give Him The Stick on my first run-through of the game on solo Legendary.
I got it the other night on Heroic, which you didn’t have to play it on Legendary…Unless you were going for the Lone Wolf 117 achievement as well. It took me about 12-15 minutes to complete, because there are many areas you can skip fights in that mission.
I am having trouble with mortardom, I had tilt on and i kept killing the driver before I could blow up their vehicle. Also I was in coop. Any tips?

you have to kill the gunner in the turret take his spot then the driver get out kill him take wraith and then use your wraith to kill i think 4-5 other wraiths… i jacked the first wraith when the mammoth stop
I saved my assault rifle mainly because there are lots of times where you can pick up ammo for it half way through the mission. It’s pretty effective against knights to. The rest of the time I used the light rifle or the suppressor. When you get close to the didact at the part where the phantom crashed into some enemies, there is a knight who carries a binary rifle. there is also another binary wielding knight at the last door before you meet the didact, so I just grab those and use them on the elites with big guns, and the knights.
Wasn’t that hard for me. Though I will admit, I was always tempted to just throw the magnum away for that Incineration Cannon.

I got this last night and do it on Legendary solo without Tilt; you made it harder by having Tilt on lol. I tried Heroic but the Marines kept destroying the Wraiths, and on Legendary the Covenant will get rid of them for you. Once in a Wraith, it should only take two shots to take down a Wraith.
