OK I have to get this off my chest. 1st thing nothing in this game is balanced Or even feels like it was play tested. To further my point for example take a look at how there’s no counter for the sword. And in that 1 example sums up the entire game. In BTB weapons spawn randomly in spots from game to game where one team/side could get the op weapons while the other team gets pretty much nothing. Same with the vehicles if one side gets a tank randomly good luck stopping them.
The Commando is essentially a replacement for the DMR and its completely ******* useless unless your practically barell Stuffing someone otherwise the spread and the overall accuracy is just trash. The shotgun is horrible and can’t counter the sword. The plasma rifle is garbage.
And then you have the elephant in the room… the microtransactions/monetization & customization. We were promised day 1 we’ll have MILLIONS of customization options available by simply playing the game and come to find out we get nothing absolutely NOTHING close to that. And by the time we do (going by this trash model by 343) it would cost THOUSANDS of dollars.
I feel like 343 literally backed themselves into a corner by their own doings. They wrote a check that their -Yoink!- couldn’t cash! By telling us that their taking a “player first perspective” and that we’ll have “Millions of customization options come day 1 by simply just playing the game” and that “they won’t circumvent anything by making us pay for it in the battlepass”
fast forward a year later and we have the exact opposite. A money hungry system that’s ******* over its loyal player base, ZERO customization practically, and an unbalanced multiplayer with no ******* ANTICHEAT! And in return we get to do 343s job for them by giving feedback on how greedy the system is and how it should be more player friendly with what we were promised. And also making players who love this series revolt from playing it or buying anything.
Overall this is just bad… like a complete dumpster fire. No anti cheat, not listening to feedback until people start leaving in droves and just a pure greedy system. The ONLY good thing is how good the game feels to play other than that this is one of the worst halos to date with barely ANY game modes to play while special events hide away our most beloved modes we like to play like Swat, Fiesta, infection, ect. I just don’t understand the logic in this entire game and system they took what made halo HALO and made it into a sleezy cash grab. And all I can say is it’s pathetic.
I would of rather spent a full $60 and had no cheaters or mtx than what we have now.
