Just finished my second game, and let me say that this is the funnest -Yoinking!- Halo game I’ve ever played.
Am I alone?
Still trying to get used to it. It’s…different.
Don’t jump the gun yet, give it time to get past the “new game hype” before you judge it. Look at how halo 4 turned out when people got to play that at events, they all said “it’s great” but the game launched and was bad.
I’m not saying it’s bad as I can’t play the beta(no xbone) but take things with a grain of salt.
What a rush! Three games so far, first 0.6, second 1.5, third 1.9! I’m twitchy and smiling like crazy. It might be new game hype and all that, but IT FEELS SO GOOD! Every death I learn something, and it doesn’t feel cheap at all!
I’m still fighting with the BR. The RDS and most Smart Scopes feels so foreign, bright and distracting. The DMR scope still feels familiar ironically since I never liked that weapon. Not to mention how default controls feel more like COD than anything (Not hating, just pointing out)
Infact, I think this is the result of Halo and CoD having a baby with Halo dominant genes. XD
Visually, I think they need to tone things down in terms of saturation. Everything is trying to grab my attention it’s annoying.
The death cams and the kill cams NEED to stop
The AR is a beast. Enough said.
Other than the fact that spaces are way too large to keep the fighting going every few seconds this is yionking fun! XD I think they are on to something.
In short, give the ACOG back to the BR
Smaller play spaces like Guardian back in Halo 3
Fix the energy sword. WAAAAAAY too bright Doesn’t look like a proper snergy sword either…

I loved the pre-release Beta. I can’t wait to get home and play the real one!

I’m loving it! Everything is so balanced and requires timing and precision. Definitely not “Halo AW”.
Five games in and this is some of the most fun I have ever had in a Halo game.
I am having a good time so far (I have only played two games), but when I switched to Bumper Jumper and got into a game I tried to thrust with the stick and clamber with with the a button, as if it was Advanced Warfare. That for me is a clear sign that this game doesn’t feel like Halo, I tried to play it like a different game series.

I haven’t played Advanced Warfare, and I’m playing it like I play Halo 2. Using the same grenade tactics, and preferring the magnum over the AR.

The magnum is finally usable again after several Halos. Thank God.
Definitely not alone. Five games so far and I’m really impressed by the balance. It’s very fun. Even when you lose.

I love this game, seriously
The best 343i did was make the abilities natural to the player instead of AA’s like Reach and 4, the game feels much better than Reach Halo 4 so far, its not perfect but it has potential, I’m loving it, its fun as hell.

I’m surprised that I haven’t lost a game yet and I’ve been getting a lot of kills but I know that it won’t last long, its just a matter of time until I start to get destroyed.
Only gripe so far is that auto-stabilize needs to be toned down. It should only auto stabilize if you scope while already in mid-air, but right now it does it even if you jump afterwards.

Eh, I haven’t had any issues with that.
Glad to see the positiveness around here, too bad i’m on Holiday and won’t get to the Beta for another week :O.
